37 Tasting Notes

CTC Assam from Harney & Sons
75

I tried this bagged. Everything I could ask for in a black tea. Rich without bitterness, somewhat full bodied.

Republic Chai from The Republic of Tea
38

This tea did taste pretty weak to me, even after five minutes in the tea pot.

Organic Kukicha from Traditional Medicinals
42

Not a bad bagged tea. I did get the nutty, “twiggy” flavor of this tea.

Gen Mai Cha Toasted Rice Green from Numi Organic Tea
25
Chai Spice from Stash Tea Company
12

I find this tea to have a very synthetic taste to it. Or maybe it is just heavy on the flavoring oils…

Pink Grapefruit (Sip for the Cure) from The Republic of Tea
40

For a bagged tea, this is a pretty nice cup. Steep it for a short period of time to halt the bitterness, maybe about 2-3mins. Has just the right amount of grapefruit flavor.

Scorpio (The Zodiac Series) from Adagio Teas
75

It is a good night to be a scorpio. I brewed this tea with boiling water, and accidently let it steep for 10mins. The tea still brewed up without a bitter edge, with the mango and chocolate notes predominating. Delicious.

Berryblossom White from Tazo

Giant Peach Iced Tea from Tazo
51

A good cold case addition. It provides the right amount of sweetness without a soda’s worth.

Green Tea from Trader Joe's
25
Peach Black from Stash Tea Company
22

I had a cup this morning. Very nice, not too heavy on the peach flavor.

Pomegranate Raspberry Green from Stash Tea Company
Bangkok Blend from Harney & Sons

A very light aromatic tea. It doesn’t taste as robust as it smells, leading to a lot of confusion to those new to the flavor.
