699 Tasting Notes
Sipdown! I can’t remember who sent this to me but thank you. When steeped it has a very strong cinnamon aroma but surprisingly the cinnamon is not as present in the flavor as I thought it was going to be. It’s light but it’s still good. It has soft apple and fig flavors. Definitely more of a dried apple kind of taste.
Sipdown!! Woot! Have another sample off my hands. I enjoyed this blend. It was a nice combination of rooibos and fruit flavors.
I have completely forgotten about my swap samples…. So… I’m going to drink this one I got from the lovely Shmiracles.
The aroma of the dry leaf is sweet and full of caramel goodness. The flavor is nice. It’s not too heavy on the caramel and you can taste the black base. It’s a very smooth black tea. Nice combination :] Thanks again!
Had a big pot of this! Soooooo good.
Made this strong and poured it over ice. It’s pretty fantastic!
Drinking a rather large pot of this at the moment. I’m trying to get rid of some of my tea before my other orders get here so I’m adding an extra cup or two to the pot! I do enjoy this tea. It’s a nice green tea that everyone likes. It’s warm, nutty, slight hints of butter, and it’s toasty. A nice green if you can’t decide on what to drink next.
Received this tea for my birthday and decided I’d have it with breakfast. The aroma of the dry leaf is very sweet. The flavor is nice. The oolong in this blend is nutty and dark. It has a bit of a roasted flavor. The dates lend a bit of sweetness. I really like this one.
Backlogging! I had this yesterday morning with breakfast. And… mixed with white chocolate matcha. I used mostly strawberry with just a touch of the white chocolate and it was awesome! Creamy, fruity, and just a touch of chocolate.
So…. I’ve completely neglected my matcha collection… and I feel sad about it so that’s what is going to be tonight’s tea of choice.
The aroma of this one is so nice after today.. Sweet, creamy, and caramel-y. Just like fresh warm caramel! Mmmmm…. The flavor is super nice. The caramel kind of hides behind the matcha but that’s ok. It’s still flavorful :]
So I tried making this in my gaiwan last night and apparently failed miserably. I followed steeping instructions on the website but no matter how I tried steeping it it had a horrible bitter chemical flavor. Does anyone know why? I’m completely puzzled…. :(
