This tea looks so pretty! Green tea with rose petals and apple pieces. Well it smells exactly like a green apple jolly rancher and made my mouth water. The cool thing about this tea is you can still taste the green tea along with the apple. I think I’d actually be comfortable with saying the green tea is the dominate flavor. The sour apple is pretty subtle along with the rose. No icky fake flavor or after taste. All the flavors of this tea blend SO well together. Quite possibly one of my new favorites :)
MMMatcha :D Such a nice pick me up
I received this as a sample with my last order. The aroma is sweet and kind of soft. The flavor of this tea reminds me of lychee black tea but with something else. I’m getting hints of chocolate and rose. I really like it! Curse Mighty Leaf and their samples. I’m going to have to get some of this now..

It was actually a bit of a chilly morning today. Well.. for August in Utah anyways.. This tea made a perfect breakfast! :]
This is a fantastic oolong. It’s bold but it has a bit of a sweet aftertaste. I might have had the water temperature too high because I’m getting a slightly bitter note. But it works well together!
This has been neglected. Well to me this looked like a regular pu-erh. But when I tasted it.. I was in heaven! Definitely one of the best pu-erhs I’ve had in a minute. It’s very earthy. It has a sweet floral after taste. It’s very smooth, too :) I think this is going on the list for the next shopping order!
Oh goodness. Today has been… Tiring. I feel like I got a lot more chocolate flavor then the last time I had this tea. Wonderful :)
Well I have been staying up a lot lately and today it finally caught up with me. So I’m here feeling tired but can’t fall asleep D: but then along comes Swiss Vervaine Melange! Hopefully this will help with my problem.
This tea is very odd. In a good way of course. There is just SO much going on with it. Lemony, minty, fruity, spicy. So I’m just going to say it’s very herb-ish. Well it is a herbal tea.. anyways.. I do enjoy this tea enough that it just might have earned a permant spot in my tea cupboard. Well I’m off to see if I actually fall asleep! Nighty night!
This tea reminds me of something from Starbucks.. but a lot better. It has caramel rooibos, chocolate rooibos, and hazelnut rooibos. The most dominant flavor is the hazelnut followed by the caramel. The chocolate lingers in the background. The hazelnut always reminds me of coffee but the carmel and chocolate kind of even it out. This tea is actually pretty good. A nice cup before bed or just to relax with.
The first time I tried this I think I may have steeped it a minute shorter then needed. It was so weak! So I upped it a minute and added just a TINY bit more and it was amazing. This oolong kind of has a heavier flavor. Kind of earthy with hints of woods and a slight apple aftertaste. I really enjoy this one. I wish I had ordered more!
Well here I am having a tea and movie late night. I think I might be ordering some more of this stuff! It’s fantastic :D
Thank you to Nicole for sending me this! It smells so good in the bag. It’s a bit stronger in vanilla though. As soon as I poured in into my cup I got a HUGE vanilla smell in my face. Oh it was so nice. The taste is mostly vanilla with a hint of jasmine aftertaste. It’s creamy and floral. Very delicious! I think I might have to order more for myself!
I love this peach oolong. It’s one of the only teas I’ve reordered. There isn’t a whole lot of the peach flavor but enough to make it a tad sweet without an icky aftertaste.. It’s kind of a juicy peach though. If you’re in the mood for a mild fruity oolong this might just be the one you’re looking for.
So I’m back logging right now. I drank this at 12 am after I came home from work. The aroma is heavy with vanilla and some nuttiness. The taste is extremely yummy though. It almost reminds me of those almond windmill cookies you get from Trader Joes. SO GOOD.
Tried blending this with a TINY bit of pineapple kona pop… Honestly, it’s pretty good. It adds a bit of a sweet note along with the earthiness.
So.. Since the sample only lasted a day I went and ordered myself a lovely 4 oz. bag of this tea. I love this as a morning tea. Not too strong but a nice, mellow wake-me-up tea :]
I completely forgot I had this until I opened up one of my sample tins! Well now you all know what I had for breakfast :] Some delicious chai. This tea to me is a classic chai. But it’s a bit lighter with more of a black tea tone to it(which I love). I’m not one for a strong chai unless it’s snowing and I’m cursing the weather. It’s the perfect strength in spice without being TOO strong. Probably my new favorite chai :]
ALSO: Thank you Epi Tea for this wonderful sample :D
Geez… waiting for this to cool and the smell is driving me crazy(in a good way of course)! It smells soooo yummy.
This tea is very creamy.. At first it reminds me of coffee, it has a nice coconut/nutty flavor to it then runs into chocolatey nuttyness. The aftertaste kind of reminds me of a graham cracker.. or a marshmallow? I’m so confused. ANYWAYS this tea is fantastic whatever the aftertaste is.
I have never tried a banana tea so I thought I’d give this one a shot! There is a very strong chamomile flavor at first (maybe too much?). This is the more dominant flavor. But the aftertaste is where you find the banana and caramel flavors. It’s light but it’s also very delicious. You can’t really catch the rooibos, which is a bit of a disappointment.. This would be a wonderful “wind down after a busy day”/bedtime tea.
Words can’t explain how bad I needed to try this tea. Lychee black tea is probably always going to be one of my favorite teas. I have a HUGE tin full of it :]
Anyways… I absolutely love the smell of this tea. So soft and fruity. The taste is the same too. To me the lychee was the more dominant flavor with hints of peachy-pearness and a subtle black tea in the background. I really liked this tea. A nice switch up to my classic lychee black tea :]
The flavor could have been a little bit stronger but maybe I will just play with it a bit more :]
The tea is very moody. It doesn’t like to be made like traditional black tea.. The first time I made it I used boiling water at 3 minutes. It was so… BITTER! But I guess that’s what I get with grapefruit and orange peels… SO we tried it today at 195 for 1 minute and 15 seconds. It turned out delicious! The ginger is the more dominate flavor followed by some citrusy notes. Mostly grapefruit. It’s different but it’s ok. Honestly.. I like it. I will probably play around with it a little more on water temperature and steeping time. See what I can come up with!
Every time I drink this tea I love it even more! :D
