I’m always amazed with the tea I get from Whispering Pines. When I opened the bag the aroma of cinnamon was sooo strong. I thought it was just going to be a cinnamon party. But it’s much, much more than that. It’s sweet with lovely roasty red apple notes. It has a lovely cinnamon background that compliments the oolong quite nicely.
I could have sworn that I already wrote a review for this one… I’ve had it for so long now.. But anyways…SIPDOWN!!
It’s pretty delicious. It’s nice that the green tea shines in this one. It’s the first flavor and then the roasty apple flavor comes on the end of the sip and the aftertaste. It’s sweet, roasty, and has a dry note to it that reminds me of dried apples. I really enjoy this one so I might have to place another order when I have less in my cupboard :]
Sipdown! I can’t remember who sent this to me but thank you. When steeped it has a very strong cinnamon aroma but surprisingly the cinnamon is not as present in the flavor as I thought it was going to be. It’s light but it’s still good. It has soft apple and fig flavors. Definitely more of a dried apple kind of taste.
I have completely forgotten about my swap samples…. So… I’m going to drink this one I got from the lovely Shmiracles.
The aroma of the dry leaf is sweet and full of caramel goodness. The flavor is nice. It’s not too heavy on the caramel and you can taste the black base. It’s a very smooth black tea. Nice combination :] Thanks again!
Drinking a rather large pot of this at the moment. I’m trying to get rid of some of my tea before my other orders get here so I’m adding an extra cup or two to the pot! I do enjoy this tea. It’s a nice green tea that everyone likes. It’s warm, nutty, slight hints of butter, and it’s toasty. A nice green if you can’t decide on what to drink next.
