729 Tasting Notes
It’s so hot in my house I can’t even sleep. I bought this one yesterday and figured I’d try it this morning since I’m in desperate need of a caffeine kick. The aroma of the dry leaf is pleasant. Rich notes of dark chocolate. The flavor is pretty nice too. It’s very robust just like it said. It’s earthy, malty, and has rich dark chocolate notes. Very nice.
I’ve wanted to try these teas forever. I love tomato so I thought I’d try this one first. The aroma is very soup like. The flavor is actually pretty good. I can taste tomato, a touch of mint, and a touch of lemon. There is a nice peppery zest in the aftertaste. It kind of has a creamy quality to it reminding me of tomato soup but with a lot more spice. Surprisingly, I really like this tea.
I’ve been putting off trying this tea because there is something weird about the aroma of the dry leaf.. Well I steeped it and honestly… I can’t handle the flavor… I feel like I’m drinking a rotten banana. It’s fruity and I can definitely taste the strawberry but that rotten banana flavor is just too much. I had to dump it..
Thanks for this one Shmiracles! I love the color of the dry leaf. So rich and dark. B-E-A-Utiful! The aroma is slightly buttery and vegetal. Honetly, it reminds me of the townhouse butteryish crackers. The flavor is just as rich. It has sweet vegetal notes that kind of remind me of spinach.. There is butter notes… It has almost has a creamy quality to it.. I really liked this one! Thanks again!
