First off.. I have to say thank you to Angel and Teavivre for sending me a generous sample of this. After smelling the dry leaf I’m excited to try it!
The dry leaf has a sweet leafy aroma to it. It’s somewhere between a wet sweet hay smell (like a pumpkin patch in the fall) or bee pollen. It’s fantastic.
The aroma of the tea still has that sweet note like wet hay. The flavor of the tea is awesome. It’s sweet, vegetal, has that sweet hay note. It has a slight bitterness to it but I may have oversteeped and it honestly kind of adds to the flavor. It’s bold for a green tea but it’s quite possibly one of my new favorite green teas.

Long time no talk fellow tea drinkers! I finally got a new computer so it’s easier to type notes instead of trying on a tablet. Well my mom went to Paris this past week and brought back some teas for me. One of them was Russian Morning No. 24. I decided to have it with breakfast and it was a great choice!
The tea has a nice bold flavor to it. It also has a nice sweet honey note to it. It has a fruit flavor to it that almost reminds me of warm peaches or warm apples. It has a bit of spice to it but overall has a great flavor.

Thank you Angel and Teavivre for this sample they sent me a little while ago. The aroma of this tea is relaxing. It’s earthy and a tad floral. It makes me think about a rainy day in the woods. The flavor is really nice and mellow. It’s earthy with notes of vanilla and honeysuckle.

I enjoy this tea a lot. The puerh is mellow and earthy. The oolong isn’t really present but the ginseng and a touch a ginger really make the cup.

This will always be a good one when I can’t decide what I want. Citrus and vanilla notes are pretty equal and blend well with the green base.

I was expecting this tea to be super rocky and mineraly like other wuyi oolongs I’ve had. It has a nice mineral taste to it but is not as strong as I thought it would be. It has sweet vegetal notes and a sweetness to it that reminds me of honey.

This tea was gone so fast. It’s sooo good. It has a nice deep dark chocolate flavor with light milk chocolate notes. It has a nutty note to it. This tea reminds me of a candy bar. I love it!

Had this one for breakfast and it made me crave pancakes… I added a touch of maple syrup to give it an extra kick and it was awesome! I can still grab hints of butter and a cake like feel. I’ll have to get some pancake batter next time I go shopping.
