I hit the 3pm slump, and had a quick brew of this to perk me right up. It’s been in the back of my tea cabinet for ages, but I was looking for a maté, and I knew this was there.

(Note to self; get more matés. Suggestions?)

It’s just as good as I remember it; smooth, chocolatey, and not too “tea-like” once I added some cream. More like coffee without the jitters. Mmm.

You asked for suggestions on Mates BTW I love mate’s in the morning before my first cup of black tea too!
I love these- Teavana Rooibos Chai blended with Matevana
Teavana My Morning Mate
Tea’s Etc. Coconut Custard Rooibos which is awesome alone and
since you love coconut (some people say I’m a pusher of this one)
but this one mixed with the first in the list from Teavana is
reminiscent of a mounds candy bar.
Please let me know if you try any of these I would love to read the reviews.

Oops correction I just realized I mixed 52Teas Chocomate (which I’m not crazy about by itself) with the coconut custard and that’s what tasted sorta like a mounds bar.
