4 Tasting Notes
So the Teavana sales people are REALLY good at what they do. The selling part anyway. This tea smelled incredible, of course I had to buy it. And of course it was the most expensive tea the have. But anyway, it’s very good for a white tea. I followed the brewing directions and it’s exactly what I expected. VERY light, in face I might steep an extra minute next time. It does have the earthy tones that everyone here has described but I find them very enjoyable. It sits well in my stomach and it’s even helping with my sore throat a little, although I guess most hot teas can do that pretty well. The one issue I have with it is although it’s a good white tea, it is not worth $22/ 2oz. I probably won’t buy it again, unfortunately. I might stick to the much cheaper youthberry.
The least favorite tea I’ve had. I’ll try anything once, but I think I’m just not one for strong floral notes. I know better now!
I was surprised Teavana was giving this out as a free sample when I first tried it. In fact, I knew as soon as I smelled it that I was going to go through it rather fast haha. I actually considered buying something small on the site when they had free shipping just so I could get more! There was just the right amount of a floral note (I had tried a peony tea in the past and it was just way too much), and the youthberry was really satisfying. I’ll definitely be getting more.
One of my favorite white teas! I could taste both the blueberry and pomegranate, and steeping for about two minutes was perfect, giving it a nice light flavor.
