It’s like a much less interesting Read My lips..

Love this tea..can’t live without it.

I LOVE citrus in anything and everything so I was super excited about DT doing a whole line just for citrus addicts like me!

I never felt like they had enough citrus variety or it just wasn’t strong enough or too strong in a wellness tea kind of way.

This smells just lovely the oil of Tangerine really doing it’s part to come through and tickle me with just a low toasty note that really accents the citrus in an interesting way.

Taste is decent and citrusy but doesn’t blow me away.

The toasty notes are alright but maybe they take away from the citrus experience I wanted.

This will be good green tea cupboard stock until it runs out.
Don’t think I’ll buy again though unless I warm up to it in the future.

So just got my DavidsTea parcel today and my first try will be this interesting tea.

It smells exactly like chocolate ice cream.

It brews thick and foggy a light caramel color with sediment on the top and bottom.

I actually really like this!
it’s like an unsweetened watery hot chocolate or chocolate ice cream melted which is actually quite pleasant and not so hard on the teeth or caloric intake.

It’s not as overwhelming as I thought it would be for a gimmicky tea.

I sooooo needed this tonight!

Picked up a 26g sampler of this today.

This smells EXACTLY like a Terry’s Chocolate Orange.

When measuring it out the chocolate curls are obvious,charming and completely enticing.
The Lemon rinds to my utter joy are also prolific and zesty.

Once steeped it’s a rich darker caramel color and smells about the same if a bit subdued.

Tastes earthy and rich but it’s not overpowering but it is the first impression I get.

The smoky texture immediately changes into the aftertaste of a Chocolate Orange on my tongue.

Overall it’s a pleasant tea but it is the taste shadow of the chocolate orange and not the full flavor I tend to hope for in my gimmick teas.

However there are so many glowing reviews on here so I will try it again and fuss with my preparation.
Hints are VERY much welcomed!

Not Cinnamon-y enough!!!

Pu’erh teas are different. Darker,richer then any other type of tea.Usually smokier and richer in taste and texture.

This tea smells like after eight’s but it doesn’t do the smell justice unfortunately.

I’m looking forward to continuing my experimentation with this type of tea since it is so very different.

Kept giving it a chance but it does nothing for me.

It’s nothing more then swamp colored rooibos that’s a bit sweet.

I was really looking forward to it too!!!

Just spent too much money online at DavidsTea to quell the tears!!

This is a new fave and now a staple for my tea cupboard..this tea blows my mind with how good it is…

I must formally apologize to ginger for the bad rap I have been giving it over the years.

Every time I sip I mention an expletive followed by awe struck adulation..

Tried this quite a few times but it never seemed to be the tea I imagined it would be.I honestly just ended up picking the jellybeans out of the bag and ate them instead of making the tea again.

It was worth a try but I think this was TOO gimmicky as a tea.At the end of the day it’s a sweet rooibos and the jellybeans only come out in flavor if you leave them to dissolve totally in the cup and don’t leave them in the strainer.

Fun concept just doesn’t work in practice.Thanks for the jellybeans though!

Gets better every time I drink it..I love this tea so much..

Next time I’m ordering 100grams not just 50!!!

Oh my goodness….so delicious and lovely.

Was so scared to try it but it turns out this is a beautifully balanced tea.

Oh My God…

being a DavidsTea expert (self proclaimed)I made sure that I went with a lower steeping time and with 1.25 tsps since their black teas can become too bitter if even steeped a little too much.You can’t just dump mounds of tea in because you’ll ruin your tasting experience.

I steeped until 5 minutes only.

I was looking for a Tazo Passion tea clone from DavidsTea and I found it!!!!!

SOOOOOOO happy.
For all the people having trouble with this one go easy…and you’ll find the paradise mentioned I swear!

I didn’t like this tea..

It tasted nutty and it didn’t seem to work as a balanced drink I found myself wanting to dump it halfway through..not really sure why

so glad I have this or else I would be the walking dead right now.

Makes crappy mornings bearable!

Well it tastes exactly like coffee but without even the benefit of being caffeinated.
