Dremel-ed the toenails of five dogs within an hour, cannot breathe due to nail dust. So here we are. Even if the holy basil doesn’t really help my sinuses, sticking my head over the steaming cup is working a bit. Tasty too.

Thanks Emilie for this sample!
Mmm fall teas. I love fall, I can’t wait to cuddle up in a sweatshirt and drink some tea and watch the leaves. Ah, I love it!
Steeped for 4 minutes, though 5 was advised. Didn’t want any bitterness but I have a feeling it would have been okay anyway.
This smells like a fall candle, which is a good thing! Lots of my favorite spices and of course pumpkin. It tastes really good too, I do get some sort of cool feeling on the back of my tongue dunno what does it, and it’s not bad. There is a little bit of something artificial in there, it may be the candies. Tasty nonetheless!

Forgot to write about this one!
Had a nice little tea tasting with a mutual friend of my future-MIL. She’s had tea before but has never really explored different types, loose tea, etc. So I was a little bit worried she wouldn’t like the taste. I was worried I wouldn’t like the taste because this is my first “loose” shou. There was no need though everybody liked it! I didn’t take notes or anything so I don’t remember exactly flavors that I picked up. I’ll have to try it again on my own so I can focus more on the taste. I was busy explaining tea things. :) It seems like this would be a good “everyday” type puer.
So I cold brewed my used leaves (steeped once), and forgot about them for a bit, however I am drinking it now! Nice light fruity flavor, very sweet. Really good!

This is lovely! Sent to me by Emilie, thanks!
I’m a complete green tea newbie, so I don’t really know what I’m talking about. Anyway, the flavors are nice and light and the green tea base comes through nicely. I can’t pick anything out exactly, but there is a nice light sweet juiciness. Whatever the green base is, I like it!
Went with Guayaki’s instructions on this, I think 150 is a little low though. Might try 175 next cup. I’ve had bagged mate before from this brand, but not their loose stuff. Adagio is the only other company I’ve had to compare to.
This wasn’t bad, I enjoyed it. Nice light herb flavor, I think I may steep longer next time. The full ten minutes sounds goods. I like my tea strong. :)

In the tin the earl grey overpowers pretty much everything, but brewed is another story. The earl grey is a more toned down, which is lovely because while I like early grey I do want to taste the other flavors in the blend. My sense of smells is still a little off (allergies yay!) and that can mess with taste well. The cinnamon isn’t particularly strong, but I think I can tell it’s in there, provides a nice little hint of spice. Really lovely blend overall, smooth taste, good everyday tea.
All out of this. :( Threw in some extra chamomile. Really tasty, need to buy more!
Thanks Emilie for some of this!
I drank it earlier, and before I knew it the cup was empty and I hadn’t really paid any attention to it! I do remember that it was tasty though, but I’m not going to rate it this time. :)
Cold brewed with a bit of stevia. Pretty good, probably how I’ll finish up this sample.
Cold brewed yesterday afternoon, had some this morning.
Just got off the phone with potential employer, some kind of pre-interview screening/chat thing. So nerve-racking! I hate that moment when you hang up and want to hit yourself in the head for all the things you messed up/should’ve said. Anyway, hopefully it’ll turn out well. Relocating soon and I need a job!
Oh yeah, the tea! This really does taste like sherbet! I added a little stevia to bring out the fruit flavors a bit more. That said, while I do like this and it tastes really great. I have some strange conflicted feelings about sherbet flavored tea, like it shouldn’t be possible. Who knows, maybe my brain is just addled from the call!
This is totally growing on me. It’s now on the shopping list.
Free sample from my last order for sharing stuff on Facebook, hey I’ll take it! Curious about this because I loved DT’s Love Tea #7 (thanks again for that sample Emilie!).
This brews a nice deep red and has a light smell of chocolate covered strawberries, however I’ll be sticking to Love Tea #7 for my chocolate strawberry tea needs (apparently I have those). It’s not bad, but the flavors just aren’t where I want them to be.

Oh yeah. That’s nice. The ice prince, iced of course! Dark and minty. Mmm. I don’t know what else to say except that when this gets back in stock I am ordering more. Can’t wait to play around with it some more, maybe try it with some honey.
