SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Home with the kiddos and did round one of putting the snowsuits on and heading out. fun fun! Now enjoying this cup of tea to warm up! Love this stuff!
***************************Side note*********************** My dear aunt (who is like a sister to me) just joined Steepster her name is Dede. Follow her! :) And congrats to Dede for joining!
Oh this is REALLY good! I am so thankful Joy’s Teaspoon so kindly sent me samples because it has introduced me to some more GREAT teas. I placed an order for a tin of spicy pear (a new favorite!) and I received my order in 3 days! super fast! I love the fact that the tea came labeled and in a nice tin. Along with the order they sent me two additional samples… english breakfast and almond cookie! I am drinking the almond cookie now and it is wonderful!
Cinnamon, almond cookie goodness! I am not usually a fan of herbal tisanes but this is one I could definitely see myself placing an order for. Also on a side note my three year old LOVES it! She was so happy when I told her it was a “cookie” tea.
I decided to get creative and blend this luscious lemon meringue with some black keemum and steep it for some iced tea. I added 3 parts luscious lemon to 1 part keemum and some rock sugar and it turned out super yummy!!!
I am sitting in the warmth of my house with this refreshing glass of lemony iced tea envisioning warmer weather!!!!! (and NO snow!!!!) Unfortunately, this is the closest I will get to that vision as we are to get another 6-12inches of snow this afternoon and evening :(
I ordered a tin of this because I am a Valentine Baby and could not resist trying this tea. (I also liked the red tin and valentine label :) Upon opening the can this tea smells strongly of chocolate. Very pleasant smelling. After steeping, the taste is more subtle chocolate with a touch of sweetness. I did not add any sugar to this and I am getting a nice cup of black tea with hints of chocolate and sweetness. Enjoyable while I have the tin but not something I need to keep a constant supply of.
I am finishing up the sample Joy’s teaspoon sent me. This is definite on my order list!! You know a tea is good when crave another cup, and this one I craved!! I was so glad I had enough leaf to make another cup.
I added a touch of rock sugar this time and it bumped up the sweet/juiciness of the pear. Very nice! I am increasing my rating on this one because I am going to miss it until I place my order.
This is the third sample I received from Joy’s Teaspoon. This is a nice lighter cinnamon tea. The cinnamon is not hot spicy cinnamon more subtle cinnamon. This tea has a bakey feel to it. It was a pleasant cup. Thanks again Naomi for the samples! I have definitely added the spicy pear and creamsicle to my shopping list!
This is so good on this cold winter day here in Pennsylvania!!! Reminds me of the warm days of summer. My daughter and I enjoyed this sample tonight. She really liked it because it was gone in no time! She actually asked for more but between my huge mug and hers the sample was gone. Looks like that one will go on the order as well. The orange is not too tangy and the yogurt gives it the taste very close to a creamsicle popsicle!! When I do order this one I want to try it iced. I think it would be super yummy on ice! I appreciate Naomi sending me this sample. So far I am really enjoying Joy’s Teaspoon’s teas!!
This is my first tea from Joy’s Teaspoon. She kindly sent me 3 free samples and they arrived super fast! Very impressed with the speed. I am also impressed with this tea.
It has a sweet pear taste… but not overly sweet. The pear taste is also like a ripe juicy pear… super yummy! Then right after the juicy pear taste you get a touch of spice. This tastes like cinnamon. Not hot cinnamon like red hots but spice cinnamon like you put on applesauce, oatmeal, etc. This is definite one I would order! I am looking forward to trying the other two samples. Thank you again Naomi!
This tea is so good! Things are starting to look up! I just got off the phone with breville and they had me do some things and now my breville one touch teamaker is working again!!! SO HAPPY! This calls for celebration, maybe a Harney order to replenish my stash of Hot cinnamon spice and this tea! LOL
