A good day. I had pork roast tonight. It was unbelievably good and juicy and tender. I fixed this tea to go with it. It held up nicely. Then I got two fig newtons and – Oh My! It brought the citrus and green tea flavors out like never before. Now it will be hard not to eat newtons with this tea.
Today, after only applying a little over four months ago, with no lawyers (one actually told me I didn’t need him) and no appeals, my disability claim was approved. It is humbling knowing 2/3 of those who apply are denied multiple times. I have never seen anyone, not in a hospital bed, move through so easily. To me the funny thing is I had to be forced to see I needed help and should apply in the first place. Now I have options as I go back to college and I can now (hopefully) afford insurance. To my faith friends – thank you!

Such great news, congratulations and thanks for sharing…going through rough times, every inspiring story such as yours is a nice addition to my «strength bag» at the moment. Asking for help is the hardest thing sometimes, isn’t it?
TTF – you know that is why I have been posting these personal things. Hoping it would encourage someone else as I go through it.
Speaking for myself I notice there is such a stigma attached to filing for disability. People assume a lot. It can make it hard to reach out.
G – Amen.

He can move mountains…even when they consist of paperwork.

Great news!! He always comes through not always when we want , but always in his time. We are all “rough” till he puts us in the fire to forge us and make us stronger than we were before. I have talked to him about you and he has worked in our life. Always with us he is.
