Disclaimer: I don’t like green tea or caramel popcorn >.>

That all said, I enjoyed this tea. Not enough to restock, I think, but I’m glad I tried it. It is tasty, if not a little weak. In my experience re:steeping times, less is more, so I only steeped this for four minutes instead of the recommended 5-7, which might be why it’s weak, but most people think this is kind of weak, so who knows. I’m really enjoying the maple, I love maple. I managed not to screw up the green in this cup, yay!

Overall, a tasty tea, but not worth keeping on hand for me.

Another one bites the dust…yay!

Edit: The more of this I drank, the less I liked it. It just is not my cup of tea.

I found the same thing (liking it less the more I drank)! I liked it even less on a second cup. The tea definitely doesn’t stand up to the gimmick.

KeenTeaThyme

I was tempted on this, but not 100% convinced. I trust both Ladykittykat & Jessie’s judgments. Thanks for being the guinea pig. :)

Uniquity

Apparently it became part of the permanent collection already…And Goji Pop didn’t? : )

Daddyselephant

I didn’t expect to like it, and then I smelled it and thought I was wrong. Nope. I was right, this is not the tea for me.

Glad we could help, KiTT ;).

Uniquity, I have to say, after going through a tin of Goji Pop, I’m kinda over it. I can’t get past the hibiscus. I suspect it’s going to be like Pumpkin Chai, it will come back every Spring. Also, the impression I get of the “monthly” teas is they’re tests. If the tea sells well, it becomes part of the permanent collection. If it doesn’t, then it’s discontinued at the end of the month.

Maybe Goji Pop will come back like Glitter and Gold did?

Cattibrie

I thought that Goji Pop was permanent. Haven’t tried this one yet but it will be in my order I am getting on Monday (assuming no postal strike).

I do love Pink Flamingo though. Wish it was permanent.

Uniquity

I’m still bummed that Mojito didn’t come back. I’d toss up quite a few teas for that one…I gotta stop getting sucked into trying the new ones, I usually don’t like them long term.

Daddyselephant

Cattibrie, Goji Pop was part of the spring line that, as I understand it, was discontinued as soon as the Summer line came out.

Uniquity, I’m with you on that one, most of the tried and true ones are much better than most of the seasonals, in my opinion.

Cattibrie

I just thought I saw on facebook that Goji Pop was going to be continued. Could be wrong. They have announced a few recently.

Daddyselephant

I sit corrected, apparently Goji is sticking around until the end of summer.

Indigobloom

I tried a sample of this in the store. It was ok, but too much like a flat pop than an actual tea! I don’t like my teas to be too gimmicky anyhow, and this one, well I think it defines that word!

Indigobloom

that said, it would be great to have for the kids

Formerly aisling of tea, now you can call me ele .

“You can forgive a murder, but never a mistake while preparing tea.” Chinese proverb

Labels? Here you go: Femme, Wife, Lesbian, Homemaker, Happy. Don’t forget tea fanatic!

New label as of May, 2015: Diabetic. I’m using tea to satisfy my sweet tooth cravings and keep me hydrated without hurting my system or messing with my blood sugar.

Ah, tea. My love for you is ever changing. At my last update, I was all about the rooibos and now I hardly drink it. I only occasionally had an oolong and now I have one just about every day. I’ve learned the art of resteeping and coldbrewing and kombucha. I have a lovely little tea pet named…well, I haven’t decided on a name for him yet. I also have five! live pets, a tabby cat named Rosabella Francis (Bella for short), a ginger cat named Orange Julius Pekoe (Pekoe), a white and grey cat named Earl Jean Grey (Earlie), a tuxedo cat (and the only boy in the house) Prince Erik Darien Darjeeling (JiJi) and a red foot tortoise named Da Hong Pao (Pao). So if you see me referring to my girls, I don’t have kids, just animals.

As for tea, I love oolongs, herbals, and black tea. Since I am no longer working, I no longer feel the constant need for a mate energy boost, though I do still reach for it from time to time. I also drink less matcha, though I do throw a spoonful or two in when I’m making smoothies. Most of my tea I drink coldbrewed, and since I discovered coldbrewed rooibos was giving me headaches, I’m drinking less and less of it. Straight pu-erh is not a thing I enjoy, but there are a few flavored blends I like. Greens are still too finicky for me to bother with hot, but they make great cold brews.

I am by no means a tea purist. I greatly enjoy flavored teas and I put stevia in all of my teas. It’s just how I do.

I think I’m going to name my tea pet Mr. Turtle. Even though he’s a tortoise.
