Oh my god this tea. Nom nom nom. I love it. I am hoarding my little bag until I can afford more (FRIDAY). I made a pot to share with the wife this morning and I think I might just spend my day off resteeping this amazing tea. Yummy. I’m trying to figure out what I can bake with this tea….I was thinking caramel apple pie, but now I’m thinking this might make an AMAZING apple crumble or even just oatmeal cookies flavored with this tea…what do you think, steepsterites?

You are on a roll! What about Toffee Apple Squares? hmmm?

Ooooooh, maybe! Don’t suppose you have a recipe I can fiddle with?

And just this evening I convinced myself NOT to smell the new teas, even though I ALWAYS want a great apple tea. Might give in on this one soon..

Uniquity you should really try at least this one of the new ones. It is great.

My tastes in tea have changed, so I should update this as well. I find myself leaning more towards rooibos and herbals, if only for their great ability to chill in my travel mug for hours and not get weird on me. When I have time to properly brew a cuppa, I lean towards white teas (which I only steep for 30 seconds) and black teas (which only get 2-3 minutes from me). I cannot stand green teas, they’re too fiddly for my tastes. Oolongs are great, but a bit fiddly as well. However, I love watching oolongs open up in my looseleaf brewer. I’m slowly discovering mates and falling for them…there are many I look forward to trying!

So…yeah. That’s me and my tea!
