53 Tasting Notes
I’ve never been able to get into this tea. I’ve never really understood black/green tea blends, because they have to be brewed so differently. It seems like one of them is always going to be suffering, and I didn’t find anything especially wonderful about this blend’s taste. I’d rather have either a black tea, a green tea, or an oolong- just not all together.
If I’m getting a cup of tea at Starbucks, this is generally what I get. This tea has a fairly strong spicy flavor that works well with milk, and I find it more interesting than the Awake blend, which is basically the only other option for black tea when one is at the ’bucks.
Basic black tea- there’s very little remarkable about this tea, but if you require a cup of black tea, this gets the job done.
A delicious dessert tea- the maple and cream flavors blend beautifully with black tea. This tea makes me feel like I’ve had a sweet treat even when I’ve only had a cup of tea.
Coffee flavored tea sounds like a weird thing, but it really is quite nice. Basically, it’s like all of the good things about the flavor of coffee without the harshness- think a coffee flavor on the smooth base of tea. In any case, I love this tea- the coffee and cream flavors are both evident, and it produces a lovely after dinner cup.
A lovely afternoon tea. Apple flavoring goes surprisingly well in black tea, and here the flavor balance between tea and fruit is just right.
A very strong earl grey- this is the strongest-scented earl grey I’ve ever had. This is excellent for those who like a heavy bergamot flavor.
Very tasty! This tea has a fantastic coconut flavor, and it’s the flavor of real coconut, not a super-sweet fake flavor. I agree with the other reviewer that it makes a delightful dessert tea.
This is one of my Adagio favorites- a nice tropical fruity note on a black tea base. It had enough flavor to keep me happy, not so much that I was overwhelmed.
I like this tea. It’s a little bit tart, with the just the right amount of fruit to balance the black tea. Refreshing in the afternoons, for sure.
