This is a very, very good lemon rooibos. Rich, liqueur-like and slightly sweet with a nice deep tang. Wonderful!
I’m not normally crazy about roasted tie guan yin, but this is really quite delicious. Rating number coming soon.
Wow! My preference is for greener oolongs, but this roasted oolong is stunning. It has an amazing, slightly savory flavor that is tasty now in August, but will also hit the spot come fall and winter. I need to spend more time with this before giving a number rating, but for now, this tea is wonderful.
Delicious, robust, clean-tasting Nilgiri. No off flavors. Yum. (Disclosure: I have a business relationship with Phoenix Tea Shop.)
I never thought I’d rate a shu pu’erh so high, but this is unbelievable. One of the most sip-able, addictive teas I’ve had in a long time. Dark as coffee, tastes like milk chocolate, smooth as silk. Amazing, simply amazing. (Disclosure: I have a business relationship with Phoenix Tea Shop…this tea is still amazing, though.)
Savory and rich, this is going to be an excellent fall and winter tea. (Disclosure: I have a business relationship with Phoenix Tea Shop.)
Not a super-complex silver needle, but also quite sweet tasting with a subtle herbal backnote. Refreshing.
