Smoky,powerful Keemun. Good for multiple infusions. Fine with breakfast, but I think it is best on its own. Wonderful.

Hrm. Fairly intense Darjeeling. I need to work with it more.
A nice, neutral, light Assam. Not overpowering or bitter. Doesn’t need milk or sugar, and just the thing for the first cup of the day.
Meh. I find this tea to be bland and uninteresting.
Hrm. I’m really not a first flush Darjeeling girl. Will work with this a bit.

Mmmm. Uber-fresh, floral, and creamy. This is one of the nicest Bao Zhongs I’ve had in awhile.
Uber-fresh tasting black blend. Very proper “British” style black tea that would probably go very nicely with milk and sugar. If you like your tea strong enough to make your spoon stand up, Royal Air Force should do the trick nicely.

Remarkably nutty Darjeeling. Fresh, vibrant. Lingering, almost savory aftertaste on the palate. I can see this becoming my “go-to” Darjeeling: Great on its own, but I’d also imagine that it would be quite wonderful with food.

Smooth and sweet. The rose really doesn’t make much of a statement here, but rather meshes and enhances the sweetness of the cooked pu’er. I’d advise multiple rinses before drinking.

A lovely, fresh, intensely floral jasmine green. Bring that temp down low and start out with quick steep, please!
