19 Tasting Notes
Surprisingly, this one wasn’t an immediate love for me. I think my expectations were a little high after reading the reviews of others. However, this is definitely the best pumpkin tea I’ve tried and it is perfect for fall. I brewed an entire pot of it (about 32 oz) and finished it before the pot went cool. I don’t really taste the actual pumpkin like others have said, but the spices are right on. This tea definitely evokes memories of warm pumpkin pie. I’d buy this again.
Preparation
I usually add a bit of sugar or stevia to my tea, but found that this one didn’t need it. However, this isn’t an overly sweet tea. There aren’t any sharp notes to it and it has a pleasant apple flavor reminiscent of Granny Smiths. I really like this one and I’d buy it again.
Preparation
One of my favorite black teas. Dark enough to please me but with enough added flavor to make me smile. I love the cinnamon/almond flavor because it’s not overpowering. I don’t detect rose in this at all though, which is a little disappointing and why I didn’t give it 100.
I think I may be one of the few people who really love this tea. I add a little bit of sugar and it tastes just like one of my mom’s sugar cookies. I find it truly delightful and like to mix it with the honeybush vanilla as an iced tea.
