Drinking tea and coffee on nightshifts is tricky business for me. Black and pu’er teas really, really don’t agree with my body while forcing it to stay awake 8 more hours. But while I was trying to catch a nap before work, all I could think about was THIS tea.
So I drag my lazy butt into the office, log on to the comp, and go directly to the hot water machine (the railroad can wait for me to have my cup of tea!) I don’t have a proper tsp handy so I eye-balled 1.5 tsp. I got mostly chocolate curls and orange rind, haha. But geez louise does it ever smell like chocolate oranges!!
Steeped for 3 mins: The orange hits right away and then it’s just choco heaven. No sweetner tonight, but I also have a loaded candy jar right next to me so perhaps I’ll try dunking a mini Aero bar in this cup. Oh this is good. I hope it won’t upset my stomach later. Mint tea is on hand for that emergency if needed.
So, yeah. Good stuff!
Note: reduced rating overall because the pu’erh snuck up on me, and now that’s all I can taste when drinking this X(
