Unlike some other Pu’erh blends (coughohchristmastreatcough), the earthy beast has yet to make an appearance for me in this tea. I’ve had it a few times as a sample, now I have a large tin that someone offloaded on me. The grapefruit and ginger combo is so strong and I love it that way. I know that’s not the point of having a pu’erh-oolong blend, but I gravitate towards strong ginger and citrus flavour so it’s not bad in my books. Multiple steepings kind of numbs my tongue from all the ginger power.
