Ok, so I know it says ‘Honeydew,’ but the dry leaf smells exactly like Bubblicious Watermelon bubble gum! (I mean, I haven’t had that stuff since middle school, but the second I opened the sample packet, it was pure nostalgia.)

Steeped, that Bubblicious scent is still there, but it’s now coupled with more of a fresh honeydew scent. And it tastes like a juicy honeydew melon. Seriously, this tea is actually juicy. I dig it. And that’s saying a lot because I don’t usually like mate. But I do like green rooibos, so maybe that’s helping to balance out the mate taste for me. I suspect this one would be delicious iced, but I didn’t have enough to try it.

I had the exact same experience with this one. Don’t like mate too much, but green rooibos is okay. This tea was good! I wouldn’t change anything about it.

A tea fanatic who works in the tech sector, I purchase most of my tea online. The numerical ratings are to help me remember which teas I should re-order. 85+ means it’s worth a re-purchase. (If I ever get through all of the new ones I want to try!)

It’s pretty obvious from my tealog, but I have special place in my heart for flavored blacks and good rooibos. I also love oolongs, but apparently have expensive taste in that area, so I don’t purchase them too often. Learning to appreciate green tea, but not a fan of overly vegetal ones. Whites make a great iced tea.

I love to try new teas and will sample most anything once. Although I’ll usually pass on Earl Grey or super floral blends.

I drink my tea with no additions, unless otherwise noted in the review.
