I tried this with a bit of honey and some milk. Didn’t really get the flavour so next time i’ll add some more tea maybe try rock sugar instead of honey.

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 5 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 12 OZ / 354 ML

Added rock sugar, milk and a teaspoon more of tea then I normally would for the cup and it tasted like hot chocolate. It has a very strong chocolate smell to it as well. I’m definitely stocking up come fall.

So this time I used a davids perfect tea cup and added a bit of rock sugar and it tasted so much better then last time. I could actually make out the maple.

I was looking forward to trying this tea I just bought 100g of it. Not sure what the problem is but I’m not getting the maple or the sweetness that others have said they taste, either I haven’t made the tea right or I’m still having problems with my steeper (I used it to make teavana’s strawberry lemonade and since then even after several washes all other teas made in it taste off)so I’ll try the tea again tomorrow with one of my paper filters.

drank Masala Chai by Teaopia

I really like this Chai I was very sad to see it wasn’t going to survive the transition from teaopia to teavana. I live in an area where I had easy access to both teaopia and teavana (before it got stores in Canada)and have tried the Black tea Chai from both places an I hated teavana’s Taj masala Chai but loved Teaopia’s Masala Chai. I am currently hoarding what is left of my teaopia chai until I can find something to replace it ( the closest I’ve found is from a little cafe in Windsor, Ontario called Taloola’s).

I have had this both in K-Cup form and as loose leaf, and while I love both I prefer the loose leaf to the K cup as it gets more flavour. But first thing in the morning I am to lazy to wait for the kettle/don’t want to scoop the leaves out so I use the kcups.
