Zingiber Ginger Coconut from Teavana
100

I’ve noticed a few people mention the pushiness of the Teavana Sales Associates, and not saying I don’t believe them, (Generally have had my fair share of pushy associates.) But the 5 times that I’ve been to my nearest Teavana’s the SA’s have been friendly, helpful but not pushy. Easygoing in the 3 I’ve met so far too.

So far, the Zingiber Ginger is my favorite tea from Teavana’s. I’m looking forward to getting more, because I am almost out! In fact I am brewing some right now, wanted to try adjusting steep time to see if more flavor kicks in, I think I’ll try for 8 minutes………
Also going to either try and grab the water before it beeps, (variable temp elec kettle.) or let it come down a bit before pouring……
OK, back. Results: It tastes creamier, like not quite as blunt, which is not bad, but can’t say I really like it that way, unless I am drinking it instead of hot cocoa. Ahh well.

Bio

New to drinking loose tea, and collecting information about myriad types of tea out there, not to mention flavors and companies. I am a Pagan Queer girl trying to find her Queer Knight in shining Amour. (Deliberate pun.) Currently in my Mid 30’s. I enjoy reading, writing stories, and crafts, and of course…Tea!
Tea History: Growing up, we always had bagged tea from either Bigelow’s, Liptons, or both, and occasionally Twinnings or some other brands I cannot think of. In my late teens early 20’s either I or one of my parents (Cannot remember which.) started buying Celestial Seasonings, like the sampler sets. Then I a few times bought Republic of Tea’s Blackberry Sage from my nearest Borders. My only experiences with loose leaf tea was rare experiences at tea houses, and the bag of Darjeeling w/lavender which I might have gotten at a Ren Faire or New Age bookstore….I don’t remember. I liked it but since I did not have a strainer, infuser or tea ball, I rarely drank it because it was no fun gagging on the bits of tea and lavender. And tea leaf reading was never an interest. lol.
