223 Tasting Notes
just “squeezed” the 3rd steep from last nights silver needle teabag. still yummy.
i ordered 150g of loose silver needle on eBay last night. gotta make sure i dont run out of it ;) also ordered big dose of earl gray. hope I’ll like it lol. should be similar to English breakfast right? and ordered some additional samplers like gunpowder and Darjeeling and chai. gotta wait 3 weeks now. till then i got plenty pu-ehr samplers to keep me busy :D
this one deserves a perfect score. its the tea i ended up liking most. i keep wanting to drink it. and its so easy to drink and so delicately delicious. just really does it for me…
i must order more so i don’t run out of it. that would be bad…
made a huge cup of it today. and its better to make a little cup of it. its just enough like that – like drinking coffee – less is better… i mean still good its just better to make less and a bit stronger and sweeter…
hmmm i’m not really liking it much today.
i made it quite stronger with less milk and a big spoon of sage honey. and… omg this is just perfect :P i’m loving it…
It’s bedtime, I’m sleepy and i haven’t had my cup of tea today. This tea should be made for the occasion…
Color is nice clear yellow – chamomile color.
Smells of chamomile too. It has 32% of chamomile ingredient. Not sure what this balm (36% of this tea) is. Going to peak in the dictionary. OK i found that out but it doesn’t mean much to me lol. Anyways think it will probably taste a lot like chamomile too.
Yep tastes like chamomile. Mostly. But better. It gets sweetish. Really really nice aroma for a tea. Very calming indeed. Would be little better with sugar or honey but I’m not in the mood for it right now.
All together another tea i rather like. And another quite different from the rest.
that delicate taste that sticks in my mouth during and after drinking this tea is so addictive. i keep wanting to taste that. you know when just thinking of some tea makes you wanna drink it. mmm yumm
First time in my life drinking tea with milk. Actually not bad and less weird that i have imagined. Goes well with pure black tea. I don’t know if i hit the right combo. Needs more experimenting. But i wont mind doing that ;)
I stole few teabags from dad. Never really liked basic black teas. Figured i should give it a try again after trying so many different teas lately.
Color – dark clear red.
No particular smell but i got a bad cold so that might easily be a false statement.
For start trying it hot without adding sugar, lemon or milk. Never tried tea with milk tho. Kinda curious about that. OK I’ve tried it and doesn’t seam bad but no point in writing about it because i still don’t have my taste back. I can just barely tell how it tastes (not as sour and strong as i remember). Being sick makes it healthy to drink teas but also slightly harder to enjoy them ;)
Give it another try in few days…
The smell of this one, both of the leaves and tea itself is heavenly. Beats all the other ones like 10 times…
Hope it tastes good too. First black tea i’m trying. I’m doing the second steep while waiting for the first one to chill.
Color of the tea is closest to rooibos i guess. Bit lighter and maybe slightly less red. Its not 100% clear.
Smells mostly like vanilla and strawberry.
Second steep didn’t get quite as dark. I will see later if it picked up all the flavors of the first one. But in general i don’t mind when it doesn’t taste the same. It can still taste good even if its different.
The tea is way milder than id expect it for a black tea. But i like that. Been saving black teas for last with a reason. Not sure if my cold has influence on my tasting. Have that in mind…
Tastes like it smells – vanilla and strawberry. It has only a bit of black tea sourness instead of sweetness behind it. But its not strong at all. Not sure id guess its black tea by the taste. Color + taste maybe.
Anyways it smells very good and tastes quite good too. Gonna put some honey in. Pretty sure that will make it perfect for me.
Yep tried that and it makes it a really really yummy fruit flavored tea. Good rating.
