Hmmm refreshing but not the best mint tea I’ve tried. Bit bittery. Should steep it on lower temperatures. Really refreshing tho. Can’t say it doesn’t suite me this morning.
223 Tasting Notes
Its quite bright coloured – orangy.
Smells nice. Like it should…
It leaves a full taste in my mouth. That I love. It has the slight bitternes which goes well with black teas. This tea is quite yummy…
EDIT It’s refreshing and good cold…
I didn’t drink white tea in ages. Was never in the mood for it somehow. Or was I lazy to wait for the water to cool down? :)
Anyways now i remember. I like this one. It has that smoothness that white teas sometimes have. Ginger is quite present but in a very delicate way. It’s not as peppery as I’d expect. Can bearly feel that side of ginger.
But all together this is quite an enjoyable white tea…
I’m drinking it cold now. But it was good warm too. It’s quite gentle. Soothing.
Perfect weekend tea…
It’s very dark. Smells like earl gray. Imho it’s always a good thing when something smells the way it’s supposed to :)
Tastes quite smooth. Bit bitter. Strong on bergamot. I went for a wake-up tea this morning and i think this could do it.
Not bad…
Leaves smell nice…
Tea smells like oolong…
Tastes like both and it blends in really nice. I like this one. A good oolong. Sweet and smooth…
Really smells like roses. Quite surprising.
MMMmmmmm yumm it’s really yummy. I didn’t know that roses taste so good :)
It’s a strong yet gentle flavor. Very overwhelming. Very good black flavored tea. Maybe even best one so far. Definitely best one with flower-flavor. Rose totally beats jasmine for me…
I’d buy this one again and i’d buy it as a very nice gift too. Thumbs up Golden Moon…
Slightly lowering the score of this one :) It’s good but its not 86-good.
Teabag smells like orange (vitamin C) candy that I like :) Cant really smell cinnamon.
Tea still smells the same. Who woulda thought that the orange smell can overtake the cinnamon smell….
Hmmm first sip was weird. Nice aftertaste but the very first impression was a bit wtf. Lets try it again.
OK its not bad but I’m not overly delighted with it either. I prefer the apple cinnamon one. This orange tastes artificial to me…
It suited me today. In that jasmine/weird way :)
I ‘stole’ one teabag of every Twinings tea I haven’t tried yet in a hotel the other day. Shhhhhhhhhhhh ;)
This one smells awesome. Mmmmm apple pieeeeeee. Downside of it is that I’m hungry instead of thirsty after steeping and smelling it.
Tastes good – of apple pie (apples, cinnamon and raisins) but the black tea is veeeery vague. It’s a good fruit blend. But as TeaEqualsBliss said more like juice. I’m sure it would be yummy cold. Sweetened too.
So i really like it as a drink and that’s what counts for me but it’s not very tea-like. I’ll still rate it good cuz it’s kinda yummy :) And I’d gladly drink it again. But with a piece of apple pie on the side.
This one really looks and smells great. Kinda sad to see the ratings it got before me. But I yet have to try it. Maybe I’ll like it more…
I’ve used just a half of the sampler to make it.
Color is deep yellow. Smells interesting. Bit different than most green teas. Idk how to describe that difference tho :)
I actually quite like the aftertaste. It’s delicious, smoky and full. But the first feel is more watery and slightly acid or something like that. I like the contrast of the first taste and aftertaste. It’s not bitter at all.
It’s different. I like it. Quite a lot.
Smells like good black tea. Color is nice dark brownish.
Tastes quite common for a black breakfast tea. I assume it would be really good with milk and honey. Anyways quite tasty but not really wow-ing.
This is still the best tea i ever bought in Croatia. The smell that comes out of the bag when i open it wow’s. Tastes rather good too. Very nicely flavored. Among the best flavored black teas I’ve drank…
In advance I’m just sayin Lord help me! :)
Pure Jasmine tea is always a danger for me.
But lets go open the bag…
Haha while cutting the bag open i cut my finger with scissors. Thats soooo not a good start :)
Smells like jasmine – for me ewwwy…
Tastes not so bad. Somewhere in between of good and bad. Jasmine flawor is quite strong but green tea flavor is there too. The black vanilla jasmine was bit better tho. Better combo.
Am not rating it again. It would be round 50ish if i did… Wouldnt buy it.
Smells really nice. Quite gentle maybe of honey…
Tastes similar. Quite sweet. And quite flavory. Nothing overwhelming or impressive but its very smooth and drinkable.
Not a bad black tea…
OK, so it has that jasmine smell i kinda hate in tea. So far I either hated or loved jasmine flavored teas. Just something about jasmine and me. Hope it’ll be on the good side but I honestly doubt it. I hate the smell of this tea…
OK I don’t hate it. I love the initial taste in my mouth but I slightly dislike the aftertaste. It’s very subjective tho so i wont rate it. Tastes like good tea but there is an issue of jasmine aroma for me :) But I’d even rate it on the good side…
And yeah all the aromas – jasmine, vanilla and black tea blend in quite nicely.
Smells wonderful.
I put in milk and sugar. I’m expecting tasty tea judging by the smell of it. Whole office smells indian :)
Yep not bad. Should be steeped longer than 4-5 minutes tho. Quite tasty.
Loose tea smells nice. Very teaish :) And rumish.
Nice dark brownish color and a still very black teaish smell. Bit of rum and gentle vanilla too.
Tastes very ummm plain black plus some scents to it. Isn’t very full and smooth. Wouldn’t say bad. It’s really drinkable if you want a non sweet dark tea. But it has no wow effect. Nothing really special about it. Kinda like buying plain black/indian teabag tea in the grocery shop.
I’ll rate it just as average…
The leaves smell very intense, both fruit and honey smell. Tea smells similar which is actually really nice. Nice brown honey color.
Its sweetish with a strong honey taste. Not bad for a fruity thing. Pear is mixed quite well with honey.
For me this is pretty good…
Smooth, very nice pleasant taste, more on green side. Very yummy.
Have been making banana/melon/yogurt/milk shakes with it all summer. Drank it like that or frozen and more like icecream. Absolutely love the shakes – and peeps around me loved them too.
Matcha itself without milk i can’t drink. Bitter. Idk if that’s normal with matcha tea or it’s just this one that’s like that? Even a sip of milk changes it completely to delicious.
I’m liking this one this morning more than i had it rated before :) Lifting the rating up a bit…
After a summer of matcha shakes I’m back to hot tea drinking :) Maybe, hopefully, i got a bunch of tea waiting for me…
This bit of the Rare Tea Oolong sampler was left since June.
And yumm. Good choice for a new start. It has a really pleasant, good and soothing taste.
