Everytime I make a cup of this I think it’s herbal tea..so I steep it like it is until I realize, wait NO! It’s green AND white! Then it’s too late. Steeped a little too long today..I think I could do with 3 minutes. This tea is a little deceiving only that I think the strong smell= strong peach taste but regardless, the taste of green tea is there with a hint of peach. I like it.

Second time making this; results are far better. I used a little more tea, about two heaping teaspoons full. Resulted in a bolder flavor which I enjoy. Steeped for around 3:30, but I feel like 3 minutes flat would suffice. The buttery flavor is really there now, and I do enjoy it a lot :) Reminds me of buttered spinach. Just going to get one steep out of this one as I’m in a bit of a rush, but at least now I found out my preferences for this tea :)

First of all, this stuff smells delicious once the tin is popped. I steeped the first time around 3 minutes at a lower temperature and second time for 4 minutes at a higher temp. First steep brought out the flavor more. I think it was the cooler temp.

Taste isn’t as strong as I thought it was; I think I was predicting a strong peach flavor like those found in a herbal tea. Regardless, there was a light peach flavor which was very smooth and left a nice sweet aftertaste. Brews a light yellow. Definitely going to reorder. :)

Pretty earthy in my opinion; didn’t taste much of the nutty/sweet flavor the description has. I’ve heard great things about Hojicha and I was eager to try it, but this hasn’t convinced me yet. I’ll have to try another.

First steep was very subtle lemon flavor; scent was definitely there. At first it tasted like lemon flavored water, but perhaps if I try at a lower temp it will yield different results. I’ll try this on second steep. Regardless, nice and smooth.

This did it for me in terms of green tea. The first steep of about 4 minutes hit the spot, second @ 3 wasn’t strong enough for my taste.. and nothing is cooler then watching the rolled up leaves explode in my infuser ><.

Anywho… brews a typical light green color. In terms of taste, I would say spinach hits the nail on the head. I didn’t taste the smokiness people were experiencing, but that didn’t matter much. The longer steep definitely created a darker tea, which I enjoy personally. I like being able to taste the tea, not get a hint of it.

Great staple for any tea drinker. Must have.

Very earthy, grass-like taste. Pretty bland green tea; nothing really special. Standard green tea flavor by any means.

I’m a fan of tart flavors and this passion tea is just that. Brews a dark red/purple and smells of cherries/guava. I had this in a sampler box of Tazo and it was one of my favorites. I found that the longer I steeped the tarter it got.
