4 Tasting Notes

Mocha Nut Mate from Adagio Teas
98

I have to admit that I am a big Starbucks fan. I love my lattes! I was shocked how similar it tasted to a latte after a splash of almond milk and sugar. I think this is perfect for someone transitioning from coffee to teas/tisanes. This is a definite repeat purchase!

Honeybush from Adagio Teas

This tea is what keeps me coming back to Adagio over and over again(with ample samples of others!). It has a very mild sweetness that doesn’t require extra sweetener, though I sometimes add a bit for an extra special treat. The smell is quite deceiving, as it tastes nothing like how you’d think from sniffing it. It smells like cheap spices and wood. I was very pleasantly surprised after taking my first sip. This is my favorite tea!

Rooibos Almond from Adagio Teas

The almond flavoring says it’s natural on the box, but I do agree with others that it doesn’t taste like it is. However, just because it doesn’t taste “natural” doesn’t mean it tastes bad! The almond flavor is very delicious, and a drizzle of honey really compliments the flavor well. This is something I have been drinking after dinner as a bit of a treat.High recommended!

Green Rooibos Key West from Adagio Teas

I found that the fruit notes were rather mild, not overpowering as reviewed previously. The green rooibos has more of a hay or grass-like taste to me, but adding sugar to this tea really brings out the fruity notes. It’s really delicious!
