Sweet Orange Spice from Tea Forte
60

Nice balance between a sweet cinnamon spice and a robust black tea. Can’t taste any orange though.

Carrot Cake from The NecessiTeas
84

A truly flavorful flavored tea with deeply rich spices and a unforgettable carrot flavor. I don’t eat cake, so this was a wonderful treat! Enjoy with a bit of cream and sweetener for a more decadent experience.

Nutcracker Sweet from Celestial Seasonings

The tea bag smells worryingly like fake butter flavor. The tea itself smells a bit like gingerbread, but mostly it just smells fake. I definitely won’t buy this again…

Earl Grey Lavender from Revolution Tea
83

Tastes exactly how its supposed to taste: like strong lavender and bergamot. A flavor lover’s tea rather than a tea’s tea. It’s hard to tell what the leaves are like with such strong flavors at play, but if you like those flavors you will enjoy this tea.

Egyptian Licorice Mint from Yogi Tea
69

The heady flavor of licorice is tempered perfectly by cooling mint. Perfect for soothing upset stomachs.

Winter Chai from Tea Forte
34

Not much chai here, mostly a woody rooibos flavor which overwhelms most of the spices. Kind of disappointing.

No. 18, Afghani Chai from Bellocq Tea Atelier
84

Excellent chai. Not too spicy, but still full of invigorating spices that blend perfectly with milk and a bit of honey.

No. 44, Bellocq Christmas from Bellocq Tea Atelier
95

Incredible notes of fresh cherries with chocolate and cinnamon. A definite winner!

DIY Chai Concentrate. I like this because I find most brands of chai concentrate have crap in them or lots of sugar. With this I can make my own and use whatever sweetener I like. It smells divine and no one will mind the fact you need to boil it for 30 minutes. The spices are crushed but not ground, which allows them to release more flavor and still be filtered out easily.

Classic India Spice from Yogi Tea
67

I’m not a big fan of most Yogi teas, but they are cheap and they sell them at the corner store. This one was a welcome surprise. I find most tea-bag chais flat and bland, but this one was nicely spiced with rich notes of cinnamon and cardamom.

Hot Cinnamon Spice from Harney & Sons
83

Definitely the most flavorful flavored tea I’ve ever had. The cinnamon completely overwhelms the tea, so it’s not a tea person’s tea. But damn is that cinnamon wonderful! It’s fragrant, spicy and rich. I like having a cup every winter morning at work after my cold walk from the subway.
