I too thought this was a lot like Red Velvet Cake. However, I do find that Red Velvet Cake can get just a little astringent if I don’t keep a close eye on in, and I had no such problem with this tea. There is a definite black tea base, but on top of that are some lovely buttery, fruity notes. A bit of sweetener and it is a great way to start my day!
