Things I learn on a Saturday afternoon… When you watch the whole star of anise dominate the scoop of tea you have scooped, that probably does not bode well for the cup. This was a very anisy cup of cranberry tea, like a ridiculously anisy cup of cranberry tea. I drank it, because it was not undrinkable, but I will be watching my anise stars in this tea very carefully in the future!
