I feel like I finally got this tea tonight. I tried it on multiple occasions before and could not get over the bitterness of the green tea base. The apple notes were always there, but it just seemed like a weird apple note. Tonight, I gave it a much lower brewing temperature and good short steep time (only 2 minutes). What this resulted in was a nice, delicate green tea with strong apple and cinnamon notes. The dreaded astringency I had been battling completely disappeared. Now that I understand this tea a little more, I am far more impressed with it and would even go so far as to say I can seem myself drinking this far more often.
