Had Blenz matcha today at another location, not as well mixed unfortunately :(
Not the best tasting tea admittedly, but I think it works well to detoxify. The taste has grown on me and this is a tea I typically like to keep in my cupboard.
I wish I could find a strong DECAF earl grey (any suggestions anyone? I seem to even have a hard time at loose tea stores here) so in the meantime I drink this version. Its not bad, not my favourite. Occasionally has a bit of a soapy quality.
I added a little bit of silk soy milk today and it doesn’t seem to bad. At least it was enough to get me out of bed.
Unsweetened matcha with soy milk. Slightly sweet, somewhat nutty. Well poured today.
Love this tea. Its a bit late in the year to be drinking it as the cloves make it wonderful in the fall and the winter. However, the cloves also open up your sinuses which is great during this allergy season as well.
Slightly sweet, honey undertones.
One of my favourite teas at Starbucks. I steep as long as possible to get the best flavour. 1 tea bag/ 20 oz cup. I can’t wait for the weather to get nice so that I can have it iced and unsweetened.
Today I steeped this Jasmine green tea perfectly. About three minutes. No bitterness. I don’t normally touch caffeine, but hopefully this will do the drink to help me concentrate today.
A loose leaf rooibos tea with pieces of vanilla bean in it. Fragrant an delicious :) One of my favourites pre/post hot yoga when I am sick of straight water but need to hydrate.
I’ve found that this is a great tea to steep in a mug when at school and to keep going back and adding hot water to the tea bag. Its a bit sweet and flavorful to begin with, which is great for the 3:00 sugar craving, and as you add more hot water is mellows out a bit.
For a bagged green tea this isn’t bad. Like that it is decaffeinated. The flavour is noticable but not overwhelming. I don’t steep this tea for very long. It goes bitter fairly quick.
A fair bit sweeter than what I expected but exceptionally yummy, a nice desert tea. Fits my yoga-brained mood today. A tea I would bring to a yin class maybe.
