So I used half a tsp of this and half a tsp of the French Vanilla matcha to make a hot water matcha today. Man I am on a matcha kick as of late!! Anyways, I thought I’d log this under blueberry since that is definitely the dominating flavor here. The french vanilla added a nice bit of creaminess, but in the future I would probably put more french vanilla and less blueberry. Also, think my blueberry might be getting a bit old, it is definitely stronger and a bit bitter today. But this was a nice experiment, and it smells heavenly! Will probably try making this with hot milk in the future as well, I have been lazy and not wanting to get my lactose intolerance going, so I’ve been just making hot water matchas. And they are so nice on my stomach! :)

Hehe sorry about that! :) but you are in China and making me want to travel! Lol, I’m going a bit matcha nuts this week, although I will probably cut myself off tomorrow as I have a midterm coming up and I don’t need to be any more jittery for it lol
I would try adding sugar if you have non-desserty ones, it helps to mellow the matcha taste and enhance the flavoring I find, or it could be that it hasn’t been whisked quite long enough, it might be an acquired taste though I’m not sure, my first matcha was with hot water so maybe that’s it lol
And ditto on having it with milk Sil haha it is very delish that way, but my stomach prefers it with water lol (as I devour a cream cheese bagel gahh)
I have exclusively consumed matcha in latte form… don’t even know what it tastes like without! And it’s almost always sweetened. One day I’ll try it all fancy and such… I’d probably enjoy it.
You should try it with just hot water to see how you like it! I have yet to try it cold still, that is my next goal, I also need to invest in an milk frother of some sort so the lattes are even fluffier.
