Another from my try me pack. I love finding new green rooibos blends! The dry and steeped smell was very much the same, a juicy, tropical fruitiness that I just could not place. I went on steepster and read the other review, yes!! That’s what it is! LYCHEE. It reminds me of SoHo. I don’t get very much peach in the aroma, just pure lychee, hm I wonder if cactus flowers smell like that? It smelled delicious, anyways!
I am sad that I am first trying this in a travel mug, because it usually is mean to green rooibos blends. This tastes very smooth, once again lychee! It’s a bit light, but very fresh and yummy. The green rooibos goes well with the flavor, even if it’s a tad overpowering. It could just be my travel mug though. But I quite like this.
Overall, this is a really good green rooibos blend. I could see myself drinking this and green and fruity as staple green rooibos teas. Another tea that embodies the essence of spring! A welcome thought on this really cold day here. Also might have to pick up some SoHo liqueur and make a summery drink with this!
