I’m surprised by the number of bad reviews. This is my favourite iced tea, and it’s one that is almost always in my cupboard.
I make the tea slightly more than double strong and steep for 7 minutes. Into my Takeya iced tea maker it goes along with a 1/2 cup of simple syrup. Mmmm…I love the lemon flavour without a lemonade tartness and the jasmine notes. I think the oolong comes out very nicely when I go more than double strength.
I did a second steeping and drank it hot. I like it well enough hot, but it shines so much better as an iced tea. My pitcher is almost done…I wonder what I’ll make next.
