290 Tasting Notes
I thought I knew (or had a pretty good idea) of what this tea would taste like, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Rather than having strong spices like actual gingerbread, it has a stronger rooibos flavor. I was expecting it to have a much fuller tea body than it does. The taste is more like freshly baked sugar cookies, than like gingerbread. Ginger is what make gingerbread what it is, and this tea does not bring that intense and distinct ginger to the tea. There apparently is ginger in the tea, but I really don’t taste it at all.
Despite all that, it is very delicious and perfect for the holiday season. Drink up :)
Peach Momotaro is a ea that is very close to my heart for several reasons. I am totally in love with anything that has to do peaches, tea, and flowers. So this is a combination of three, and it is TO DIE FOR.
When it blooms, it is absolutely gorgeous, absolute perfection in a cup. The white tea leaves open up to reveal a beautiful marigold. I have never seen a more beautiful blooming tea in my life.
As for the taste, it s refreshing, clean, and very light. The peach flavor is very light and resembles fresh peach. The white tea is not strong at all, so all you really taste is the light peach. I hope you will ll enjoy this tea as much as I do
This is a very unique and elegant tea in general. It does not have very typical flavors seen in most white teas. It has a kind of “tropical” vibe to it. The golden mulberries, the huge coconut pieces and the light tea body make it absolutely flawless, smooth and very clean.
As for the taste, it has a strong sweetness from the mulberries, however, it is balanced well by the beautiful and delicate white tea base. in addition to the sweetness from the mulberries, they also add a “mulberry flavor” haha. I’m not sure how to describe it an other way.
