Not my cup of tea. This tea was a reco from my local Davids. The sweetness that comes through this tea reminds me of artificial sweeteners. Sadly, not even interested in trying a resteep. Will not be repurchasing.

I really like this tea – very yummy! I like that its a blend of green and rooibos teas. This is my first tea of the day during the week at work. I don’t really taste the juniper berries too much but perhaps it’s because of the lemon flavoring. I will always have a stash of this tasty tea at work!
It makes me very sleepy on a Sunday night. I love the minty-ness and yawn the chamomile is a nice touch yawn. Nighty night….zzzzz
Damn this is a tasty tea! More so with just a splash of soy milk.
Hmmmm…..not sure about this one. I really, really want to like this milk oolong since it is very accessible. But I am just not getting the creaminess I have heard about. The dry aroma does not come across very creamy – I hope my 50 grams is not stale :(. As for taste, perhaps my novice tea buds need more maturing, but I find it a bit on the bitter side. I may have over steeped so my bad.
Gonna try a second steep of this in a bit. And will watch the timer like a hawk! Fingers crossed yup, yup.
First, let me share something with you – I LOVE wine. As much as I love tea, to be precise. So hubby and I decided to make our own “on premise” wine. It turned out ah-may-zing!!! No more trips to the LCBO for us to buy wine. It’s way less expensive to make your own, its fun and you come out with a bottle comparable to a $15-$20 dollar bottle at the LCBO.
So now I sip on some of Davids Tea Some Velvet Morning. My liver will thank me I’m sure. I find this one bitter. So I have to add a sweetener to make it right. I’m going to blame the orange peel for that. But it is my go to “detox” the morning after. I have heard good things about dandelion root for liver cleanses. This tea settles my stomach, gives me energy and hydrates. I’m sure there are better teas out there for this kind of thing, but for now I will stick to this one.
Funny – we did not wake up with massive hangovers this morning :) Yet another reason to stick to the homemade wine!
Oooooh I am in love with this tea. This one will always be in my tea stash. It is just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess. White chocolate chips be damned!
Love, love, LOVE this tea! It’s my go-to brew after lunch and makes my afternoon that much more enjoyable. I must stock up on this one before its gone….
I really do love this tea – especially since I have not had any popcorn in three years because of my stupid braces :(. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this one. It smells like popcorn and has a nice buttery/maple taste. My only gripe is the lack of green tea in this green tea. Other than that, it is a very different tea and very enjoyable!
This tea reminds me muchly of Tealish’s Sweetie Pie Rooibos. I like this version but could do without the artificial flavouring. I don’t know much (yet) about tea, but I do think a tea should stand on its own without the need for added flavour and artificial no less. Still, I do like it with a splash of soy milk.
