This tea is okay. I am staying with my parents so it is hard to log teas on my phone. This tastes a bit artificial. It must be whatever the black tea base is. Good with milk and sugar though!

I wanted a warm beverage tonight. I went to my parents’ house and am planning on staying here for 1-2 weeks while I am on nightfloat. I brought a variety of teas and tisanes. However, I forgot to bring a filter :( I hope the Wegman’s closeby has something. I opted for this one since this is a bagged tea, and it is nighttime here. This tea is really mild, but does well with milk and some sugar. This tea reminds me of a black assam that has been steeped twice, and this would be the third time I’m steeping it. The brew was a honey brown color, and it was light. Okay tea overall. I am not overly impressed. After I am done with the 5 tea bags that I have left, I am not buying this again.
I decided to try this one from my samples box! I received this from Lady 0f Spaydes. Thank you :)
This one smells like a strawberry milkshake on the dry leaf. It smells a little artificial. The chocolate makes this taste malty like a strawberry malt milkshake. Delicious! This is definitely a good dessert tea. The puer is very mild, but makes this tea a little more interesting. At the end of a sip, there is mild astringency. I imagine this would taste great with milk, but I don’t have any in my fridge. Good tea overall!
My glass jar of this is running down to its last bits. I think I have enough left for one more steeping. I’ve had this herbal for so long… this was in my newbie days when I decided buying a pound of this seemed like a great idea. While this is a nice, comforting, caffeine-free beverage, I didn’t need to go overboard. Anyhow, those were the good ol days!
Today I needed something comforting. My husband went abroad to visit his family for 2 weeks. I wish I could go, but I can’t fly now that I am becoming super pregnant. Sad. I know that the scent and flavor has probably died down throughout the years, but this still tastes good. There is the lingering sweetness mixed with the woody taste that rooibos brings as well as nuts and the light warmth of vanilla. This feels like a warm blanket has been placed over me… I feel all cuddly! Perfect beverage for a lonely night like this.
I wanted an evening green tea today. I chose this one as this is the only unflavored green tea that I have opened at the moment. I don’t like to open new teas right away either.
Regardless, I think I am feeling a bit down since my husband has to go on a trip abroad. I am not used to it, and I don’t know if I will get used to it anytime soon.
This is a nice, smooth green tea that is refreshing and a bit like nori and buttery. I brewed this at a cooler temperature because frankly, I forgot all about water I had cooling. This isn’t bad though. Not bitter and it goes down smoothly.
I finished this all up today! This was a huge paint can full of tea! Delicious! This is a nice basic white tea. Obviously at the end of the tin are all the tiny crushed up leaves, so the brew wasn’t nearly as good as when this tin was first opened.
I made this over stovetop today. This pairs so nicely with the coconut chicken curry that I made for dinner. We had several friends over today. My husband and I appreciate everything they’ve done for us so far.
The cinnamon disappeared a little bit after boiling it for quite some time, which is a good thing. I added condensed milk and a tiny bit of sugar for good measure.
Finally used this all up! Sipdown :) Good black tea. Strong, but not my favorite.
I made 4 oz of this today and added a LOT of milk and some sugar to it. Wow this brews a dark and strong tea!

I’m all alone in this apartment for a week! It sure is lonely not having my husband to share tea with! I needed this tea today. I wanted an oolong. This one was perfect! Light and airy with a natural coconut flavor to it. I had several steepings of this. Yum!

I cannot believe I am already almost finished with the 1oz tin of this tea! Thank goodness I have another. This is definitely my favorite Kusmi Tea so far. My husband left for Tanzania today for a week and it wasn’t for a good reason either so we were both sad. We needed something to lift our spirits this morning. That called for something citrusy. This was perfect!

I received this from darby in a swap. Thank you so much! This is a nice smelling black flavored tea! It smells almost like amaretto – sweet almond. I tried this during medical school because my friends loved this tea, but it has been a long time since I’ve tried it again. I can say that this tastes wonderful. The liquid was amber brown and it tasted like an almond biscotti!
