I have another box of these tea bags. Soon I’ll be heading off to Tanzania! I know I’ll be drinking tons of these there! I can’t wait to stock up on more!

I need to stay awake! Tomorrow is my big exam!! crosses fingers This tea is helping! I know I shouldn’t be online right now, but I can’t help myself. Go tea go!

My last sample of this – gone! I am thinking about buying this as soon as I’ve finished off more teas. I still have a long wishlist!

Delicious! My boyfriend shared a cup with me. We both agree – its great! Still remains as my favorite from RoT.

I wanted to try this out so I bought a box at the grocery store nearby. I can’t rate it this time since I used it to make spiced chai the way I like to make it – on the stove. I am studying for my step 2 board exam, which I’m taking on Monday and needed a break. Chai – my comfort beverage of choice!

This is exactly what I needed.

This was f a n t a s t i c! I added 2 heaping tablespoons of this blend. From the box (its a cute box IMO) it smelled like it would be strong and possibly bitter alone… the leaves are all cut up really small – fannings? CTC? Is that what its called? This blend turned out darker than any of chais that I’ve made in the past. It was not bitter! So delicious! Great tea for chai. Well… I think strong tea is great for chai. It balances out all the spices. ^_

If I were to try this plain, I would probably add half a teaspoon and steep for a short amount of time. Til next time!

Yum! I try to use this as sparingly as possible. I love this blend so much! I added some Caranda Fine Foods – Usambara African Breakfast to the mix, agave, and milk. Delicious :)

Sooo delicious! One of the best Houjichas I’ve tried! I love Den’s brewing instructions – it was perfect! Toasty, roasted and warm. There was no hint of bitterness at all. My boyfriend enjoyed it as well :)

This one is very very good! My father bought a huge tin of this at Teavana one day since he tried it there and loved it. A great blend

For me, this summer is the summer of iced teas. I keep trying different mixes. I love cold brewing since its so easy to do.

Last night, I wanted to make some sort of iced tea mojito! I blended a little of Adagio’s Peppermint and Mighty Leaf’s Green Tea Tropical with a dab of agave (surprisingly mixed well room temperature water). Since I have an abundance of limes, I added them to the mix. I let the mix sit in the fridge overnight and voila! Yummy goodness! :) Some citrus notes with the limes were great! The peppermint was refreshing!

What is that stench? Oh its White Cucumber. It smells so pungent in the tin! It smells like a mix of old ketchup and old mustard… like what you’d smell at a carnival or one of those carts in NYC selling those dirty water hot dogs.

Steeped, it wasn’t so bad. It was yellow and the smell wasn’t as bad. The taste was milder – thank goodness! Though I didn’t enjoy this one as much. It left a strange aftertaste in my mouth. A milder “dirty water hot dogs” taste. Not bad, but I can’t say I’ll reach for this often. Well.. I might just to finish this tin as fast as possible.

I received this in the sampler package from Den’s Tea. I love the extra matcha in here. It was powdery when I opened the wrapping. This was excellent but I still prefer the whole leaf tea. The leaves in this pyramid bag were a tad crushed up. Not bad for a bagged tea :) Convenient to take around too.

Got 2 of these to sample… one word: meh

I actually like this one better this time around. My boyfriend made it for me and added some agave. It had the smokey, savory ham smell to it, but it didn’t taste like ham to me. Very good! It tastes better with the agave for sure. I’m bumping up the rating a little!
