Had some stove-top chai tonight. I’m burning the candles since I have an exam coming up. Yummy! :)

This is a nice blend. I kept wanting to drink more and more of this. I added a bit of sugar to this. Tasty. A nice, mild citrus in the background added a little zing to the green and black leaves. Good tea overall.
Jillian sent me a sample of this a few months ago, and it wasn’t until now that I tried it! I knew I was in for a nice treat.
Sweet almond… it reminds me of those almond cookies I used to get at a Chinese restaurant I used to go to when I was younger. I love the sweet scent of the wet leaves. It is so light and fragrant. I can’t assess the color since I made the mistake of using a dark colored cup. I noticed that this green tea had small-medium sized leaves and short stems. I could also taste the green tea distinctly, and the aftertaste was a mix of sweet almond and green tea. It is very nice. The nutty taste was enjoyable!
This was the first almond flavored green tea I’ve had. I’ve come to the conclusion that I like almond flavored green better than black tea. The combination of green tea with almond wasn’t overbearing or strong, which was nice. Good cuppa in the afternoon – yes! :)
First, cute name for a blend! Second, this is delicious! I smell the peach… the artificial peach scent. It is really strong, and I wish it didn’t have that smell. Nonetheless, it tastes good. I never thought of the idea of combining chai spices with peach and mango, but this delivered pretty well. It has a nice sweet and tart taste to it. I enjoyed the spices as I’m a big fan of chai. I added some sugar and milk, but this didn’t need the milk so much. But with the chai spices, I thought the milk would accentuate the spices more. I can’t tell if it did. Good tea overall! A great way to start my day!
This is a good herbal for uplifting spirits! I mixed this with some green pekoe tea and some assam black tea.
Any blend suggestions for a rough day? I always like to do something citrusy…
Mixed this with Adagio’s Peppermint. Reminded me of some toothpaste I tried that was flavored vanilla mint. A good combination. Warm and refreshing. Plus, theres no caffeine, so hopefully I’ll sleep a tad earlier today. This herbal would be a great replacement to candy mints or gum. My mouth feels so fresh and clean!
I probably shouldn’t lay down for a little bit though… peppermint relaxes the lower esophageal sphincter, and I sometimes have acid reflux… >_<
Gave my palate a rest from trying more signature tea blends. Put this in my mug, added some milk and sugar, and went on my way to study at school. So tasty. :)
Edit:
Wow this is my 200th post! I love steepster! I wanted to see how often I drink tea and to have my personal reviews of them! Before, I kept a list on google docs! Well I still do, but I just keep a list of my current vs old teas… Obsessed? Yes I love tea.
A nice flavored black tea. I had this with milk and sugar. Decent. I loved the chocolate accent to it. Overall a tasty dessert tea. Yummy! :)
Great, tasty blend. I like this one a lot. I could taste the gingerbread. Yummy! I loved this with milk and sugar. I couldn’t taste the apple in this blend, but there was a hint of fruit in this blend.
Vanilla cake. Thats the first thing I thought. This is a very sweet tea. I added sugar and milk, which made this taste creamier. Yummy! Great dessert tea. I have such a sweet tooth, and this tea hits the spot. Warm and tasty. I love it!
I have never tried pomegranate, so I can’t say for sure if I’ve tasted it in this tea. This tea is good nonetheless. Very slightly and mildly fruity. It tasted more like a basic black tea. I added milk and sugar. An alright blend.
Chocolate and peach. The scent is very peachy. Almost artificial. I was drinking this without sugar, but I needed to add it. It didn’t seem to help much though. Unfortunately, this wasn’t one of my favorites. Tasty but something seemed off about it.
Ham. Bacon. Pork. Those were the first things I thought when I smelled and tasted this.
Savory and smokey. The calendula flowers are large and whole. I was very surprised. Pretty and yellow. There were blue cornflowers in there as well. A colorful, natural tea. I think I have to get used to this tea though. I am not used to drinking savory, smokey teas. Especially not ones that smell like ham to me. Wow. Interesting flavor. I have a large tin of this. I hope I eventually fall in love with this.
A nice solid oolong tea. I couldn’t discern the flavors that much. Maybe it is because the blend has been exposed to air and has been in the box for a long time. I would have liked to taste the grapefruit. The vanilla and almond were slightly discernable. Good overall.
This was a nice, solid blend. Every part was well balanced. It tasted like a nice black tea with hints of cinnamon. It was nice and mellow. Not bitter. I don’t like bitter teas! I added a little sugar to it. Good tea overall.
The dry leaf smelled of spices… Maasala chai is what came to mind. Once I steeped it, it was so delicious! I added milk and sugar, and the flavors were outstanding! This makes it in my top 5 favorite signature blends! It is a nice cozy tea. Great for winter. It does remind me of Halloween as there is a slight apple flavor to it, but I mostly tasted the spices and cinnamon. I love chai, and when I buy a tin of this, I’ll try to make it on the stove.
DELICIOUS!!! I used the leaves 4 times!
I bought a huge lb bag of this! I love peppermint. It tastes so fresh! It is not artificial at all… especially compared to store bought peppermint teabags and other peppermint blends. The smell is intoxicating. I feel so refreshed.
I also took some vanilla rooibos and added it! Delicious!! Absolutely delicious!
This is a comfort tea for sure. Great to drink this indoors when it’s cold, rainy, and gray outside. I feel so warm and cozy. The description for this blend is spot-on. I had a sample of pumpkin spice, and I didn’t enjoy it very much. This blend was well balanced.
Not bad… not bad at all! I feel very sleepy right now, and I decided to take something decaffeinated. Serenitea: Kaylee was just right. I’m a big fan of rooibos, especially rooibos vanilla. This blend was complimented nicely by the wild strawberry mix. It wasn’t too fruity or tart, and it added a nice sweetness to the tea. Not very saccharine, but a nice, mild honey-like sweetness. The rooibos vanilla mellowed out the fruits. Calmed me down even more. Sleep well! Good night!
This is a nice morning or afternoon tea. It was mostly black tea with a hint of citrus. The caramel scent stood out and the flavor gave the tea a very slight sweetness. A nice blend, and no one flavor overpowered the other.
The name exactly describes the taste! I smell coconut! I am so sensitive to its scent and taste. And there is definitely a mild lime taste to it… especially an aftertaste. I feel like I would like to make a margarita!

Peach and Nuts! I enjoy trying teas and trying to figure out what flavors are there and what type of tea it is. By looking at the dry leaves, I was guessing oolong. They smelled faintly peachy. After I had steeped it, the peach flavor and scent came on full strength in a good way. It was followed by a warm, nutty flavor and aftertaste, which I love.
This must have been the almond oolong! Some oolongs have that nutty warm taste on my palate. I enjoyed this treat. After tasting it plain, I decided to try it with a little sugar and milk, which didn’t take away from the flavor. Good tea, happy me!
Very light and slightly fruity. Airy. Something is off about the flavor though. Something is not agreeing with my taste buds…. Unfortunately I am not impressed with this.
