I absolutely love this blend. This blend is perfect for those times I don’t feel like blending spices on my own. I love this steeped western style or traditionally made via stove. I’m sad to see this one go, but it was perfect for the holidays. It has been a fairly warm winter so far, and I’m glad! However, I was definitely in the mood for chai. mMmm… This last mug I made was made western style. I even used this blend previously for making chicken as I usually use cardamom for chicken. It is delicious! I even put it in my rice cooker.
This white tea is crushed up. I’m not sure if its from handling or not. It smells like a strong white tea, and it is a pretty flavorful, strong tea. Meh…
I was a bit disappointed in this one, but I think its because I had such high expectations. The picture makes it look so beautiful. When mine bloomed, it looked like a sad lump of red-brown with brown-white flowers. The taste was okay. I felt like I needed to leave it longer, and when I did that, it turned out a bit astringent. The nutty flavor isn’t as pronounced in this tea. Neither is the jasmine. Overall its just okay. meh.
