I am so surprised! For some reason, I thought it would have hibiscus and bleed red. There was no hint of that at all. It was a purely white tea with some flavorings! Delicious! Nice and light with the hint of fruitiness from the pomegranate.
1483 Tasting Notes
Happy I drank this today. I used the Western method and cut up fresh pieces of ginger and steeped my husband’s cup first so he gets the most caffeine (in my mind haha). Then I steeped my cup for a short time. Delicious with sugar!
My husband and I finished this sample up! This is a good basic Assam. I love Assam teas because they are blendable! Great tea. I love how it doesn’t get too bitter.
This tea is heavenly! I received this as a sample in the mail. Perhaps its also because I haven’t had black tea in ages, but this one is just mMmm delicious! I love the real scent of spices in this little bag. There is nothing artificial to the smell or taste! It was a nice, mild but spicy enough beverage. The black tea base is perfect. I added some sugar and milk to it, and it was wonderful. Such a great tea for a cold day.
I can’t believe I haven’t logged this yet. I have definitely drank this herbal beverage several times though. It has a very strong scent to it. Very apple, caramel and something pungent. Steeped, it was a nice auburn color. The scent and taste wasn’t pungent at all. It was a lovely, light caramel apple. I was surprised at how accurate it tasted! It almost got me craving an caramel covered apple! Delicious!

So I ordered from Red Leaf Tea when they had the sale! Wow! First, they shipped out so fast! Second, this matcha is so tasty! Finally, I haven’t touched matcha in years! My matcha utensils have been gathering dust, so I was excited to bust them out today.
I am approaching 12 weeks this Sunday! woo! I am cheating and having some caffeine! I read that I could have less than 150 mg/day of caffeine… or about one cup of coffee per day. I absolutely love strawberry and have been having bouts of cravings for strawberry. This was perfect. I sifted 2 bamboo scoops full of this matcha. The scent was like strawberry ice cream… not sorbet. I whisked as best as I could. What I got was a nice murky green with a bit of froth. Absolutely divine! I love the taste. The strawberry flavor was subdued, which was good. The matcha didn’t have any astringency, and it went down my throat smoothly. Delicious! I am a fan! I can’t wait to try the other matcha flavors (caramel, almond, amaretto) that I bought!
I needed some sort of warm beverage today and opted for this. I was fondly looking through my tea cupboard and wishing for the day I can drink it again. But surprisingly, I haven’t been tempted or even been thinking about tea. I hope these next few months go by without any hiccups or problems :) This tea was nice and tropical. It takes me back to warmer months.
Wow my husband must have really loved this tea! I like Yunnans. I don’t know if I’ve reviewed this tea, but this was a nice warm and toasty tea. I haven’t had it in a very long time since I’m preggo and am trying to avoid caffeine as much as possible. I was looking fondly through my tea when I noticed this empty tin!
We finished this up today. SIGH I love this tea! I love anything Tanzanian. I put this on my shopping list! So delicious for the morning!
I was craving strawberry ice cream for about a week now! I wasn’t able to get any either! So today, I whipped this up in my work mug. As my husband was driving me to work, I took a sip of this. OMG HEAVEN!! I was so giddy with excitement because I was having the strawberry ice cream I had been craving! Woo! This is absolutely delicious and hit the right spot. The amount of green tea matcha in it is perfect. Absolutely amazingly delicious!
I love this tea! I am trying to reduce my caffeine intake to one cup of tea per day. It is hard, but I need to do it for the time being. This was a good choice. :) I’m glad I am still able to have most of my tisanes.

I finally made this tea without having it make me feel so jittery! Great tea! I might purchase this in the future. It is the right kind of smokey. I am not always a fan of smoky when it is excessive, so this is perfect. Go Teavivre!
When I opened this sample up, I wasn’t sure what this was going to taste like. It was fruity! In fact, when I brewed this up, this tasted like bubble gum! I only drank about 4 ounces of this tea when I started to feel jittery again. So strange. I only drank the Keemun this morning and this Sakuramba for lunch. I think I need to reduce my caffeine intake. Anyhow, this tea is okay. I wasn’t a huge fan of the flavor.
Wowzers! This actually made me jittery this morning! No tea has done that for me… at least not in a very long time! This is great for the mornings since I need that caffeine eye opener! I love this malty tea.
This is a pretty good tea. I haven’t had a solid bright green tea in a while. This made me happy today. I love when the color of the tea is bright green. This tastes great! It is sweet and thick. There is no astringency to this as well.
As much as I don’t like grape flavored anything, this tea is actually fairly good. It tastes exactly like grape soda!

I had a cup of this tea this morning. I don’t think it is strong enough for a morning tea, but it was decent. I like the fruity notes.
I saw this sitting on my parent’s shelf. I know they haven’t drank tea in a long time since they bought a Kuerig, so I decided to claim this one as my own! This is a fairly decent tea, but I don’t like the aftertaste. It isn’t the best. I am not sure what it is. Maybe the spices overpower the white tea too much. Perhaps I will like this tea more down the road.

Thank you Teavivre for this sample! It was hiding away in my cupboard! I have drank this twice already. This is a great tea. It has a nice, warm, subtly smoky, nutty and toasty flavor to it. It is a smooth tea that brews an amber color. It is bold and perfect for the morning cup. I’ve had it two mornings in a row now. I added some sugar and some milk to keep me going for a little longer.
This is a very delicious tea! I love Keemun teas, especially when I’m in the mood for them around this cooler time of year. Go Keemun!!
