Beautiful tea blend! This was a sample that I stumbled upon! Delicious. I love the orange bits.
The chocolate was great and well blended. The orange was not very overpowering which is a plus. It got bitter towards the end.

I received this in a swap a while ago! I saw this in the bottom of my sample box. I am assuming because it was in a plastic bag that the flavor would be weaker. This is actually a pleasant tea. Granted, I did not use boiling water and I only steeped this for 1 minute.

The leaves were a little crushed and green in color. I wasn’t sure initially what type of green this is, but now that I saw the description it is bancha. There are bits of colors in the mix like yellow and blue. Very pretty. I wish the leaves were crushed up. Again, I think this is because it was in a plastic bag at the bottom of my sample box! I couldn’t smell anything in particular.

Once brewed, it was a medium yellow in color. The green tea base took precedent over the blend, which was good. The base was a little vegetal in flavor but mild. There is a mild sweetness and fruitiness to it. Delicious. I like that this is mild. Good tea blend overall, although, not my favorite.

I cold brewed this tea in my large water bottle. This so delicious with a hint of tartness. This is the only way I like to make teas with hibiscus. Great staple for warmer weathers.

I received this sample a while ago from yssah – Love is Tea (LIT). I wanted to give this a try before purchasing a large tin. I am a huge fan of Andrews & Dunham Damn Fine Tea. I have almost all of the tins, save 3 of them.

Anyway on to Mount Gray. I LOVE Earl Grey teas. This one is definitely in my top 5 now. The bergamot isn’t very strong or overpowering, which some Earl Greys tend to be. This is well blended. The tea itself brews rather dark and strong even below 3 minutes. It has a slight astringency to it. The base is warm and toasty but strong enough to counteract the bergamot. Good blend. It is different than the others I have tried.

This is a lovely blend. I received this sample a while ago so I think it is not as strong of a flavor as it is originally meant to be. This is a nice black tea blend that does well without additives. It has a certain warmth to it as well as a slight fruity and sweet backdrop. Good tea with some mild astringency.

So I bought a box of this tea since I had only tried one teabag in the past. I actually really like this tea. It brews nicely and doesn’t get bitter. My husband particularly likes this tea. It doesn’t taste like lipton’s cardboard. It tastes somewhat different.

This one just makes me smile when it pops up…discovered it recently and its just a lovely plebian comfort tea.

Ever since I gave birth to my baby girl (6 months ago!), my love for tea has been on the decline. I haven’t had time to truly enjoy making and sipping tea. On top of that, my husband and I moved to my parents’ house. They have a keurig. I had succumbed to it! Recently, I have been getting into tea again.

Anyway, today I decided to try this sample. It pains me to have so much tea sitting around! This one smells faintly of sweet syrup. There was one piece of cinnamon and popcorn in this. I was very excited about that. Upon brewing, the cinnamon wasn’t very overpowering. In fact, it was well-blended. This tea didn’t need any additives at all. It was naturally sweet. The black tea base wasn’t overpowering either. Good tea blend overall. Next time I will try to brew this for longer and add milk to see if it changes the flavor at all.

I didn’t realize you had a baby – congratulations!

Thank you Amy oh ! :)

Maybe the problem is partially practical. Hot tea and a baby…dangerous! Try cold brewing loose tea. The hydration is good and tea can be calming.

My cupboard contains all the teas that I own. The teas that are unrated but are in my cupboard are ones that I haven’t opened yet. :)
