Assam, nice. Finishing off my tea biscuits. Wish I was going to a yoga retreat instead of spending all weekend in the house, but it’s definitely nice to have heat at home this year, and I can run, and read in my room, and go to the free museum, and do other people avoidance things. Plus, more Sherlock!

also, i have to confess, i looked up plane tickets to Miami yesterday. i think i have to move to Puerto Rico or Hawaii. it’s the first week of the year and i’m already miserable because of the cold.
I have a $50 credit with JetBlue from my last Miami trip… They fly into Ft Lauderdale. I see pics from MyCeviche on my FB and WANT. For me, it’s not the cold as much as the total nothingness of anything to look forward to until Spring.
It got down to 10 F in St. Louis, which happens here in the winter sometimes, so for us it’s just a typical winter, a little snow, a little cold. Today it will be 35 or so probably. I really feel for all my Canadian friends, I heard that it was colder than Mars in some parts of Canada yesterday, if you factor in the wind chill.
