99 Tasting Notes
I am not drinking this right now, but I had it Saturday morning before an outdoors run… yes, outdoors run in 20-something degrees. It was an experiment in motivation. Very excited to try this one, since I know it’s expensive and Harney. It was nice, but I wish it had been more memorable. I was probably sleepy!
Right now I’m listening to a funky Groovement.co.uk music podcast and trying to do some work, but really I just want to be doing anything else (so I’m mostly having Sterek daydreams and thinking about Amy Adams’ wardrobe from American Hustle I saw yesterday).
Assam, nice. Finishing off my tea biscuits. Wish I was going to a yoga retreat instead of spending all weekend in the house, but it’s definitely nice to have heat at home this year, and I can run, and read in my room, and go to the free museum, and do other people avoidance things. Plus, more Sherlock!
LOVE this. Chinese black tea and roses? Two of my very favorite things. Plain Chinese black tea is perfect. And I need something strong to balance out the 5 cups of coffee I drank yesterday while waiting for my biscuits and gravy. I managed to eat Chinese food and go to the cafe, and lots of beer, but no running.
Watched new Sherlock episode last night before bed, so couldn’t drink John Watson tea at the time, but while I very much want to daydream about Sherlock today, it’s hard to not think about Teen Wolf. Maybe by the end of the day I’ll come up with some truly awful Sherlock/TeWo crossover fic idea from hell. Maybe just werewolf!John, which is already a thing.
Gorgeous silver tips! Really nice. Of course I love Harney earl grey anything.
I am really disliking the holidays this year. I wanted to go see Nadastrom in DC tonight, but even thinking about driving to DC is giving me a headache. So I’m going to drink beer? That I won’t spend too much money on? (not likely) But tomorrow is running, the free fine arts museum, my favorite cafe, and new Sherlock. Fanfic on my Kindle. I can’t complain about that. May next year bring the rebirth my yoga teacher keeps talking about hahaha.
