1113 Tasting Notes
Today is my last vacation day of the year! I’m spoiling myself by drinking some of my fanciest teas. I’m still enjoying this one very much. Shame I only have enough left for 2 more cups! :)
I think after lunch I’m going to go thrift shopping for a little while. I’m gonna pop some tags, only got $20 in my pocket…hehe. Wish me luck! ;)
I got a few cups worth of this as a gift from BrewTEAlly Sweet! Thanks!!!
I’m off work this week so I haven’t been online nearly as much. I’ve still been drinking tea but not taking the time to write notes about most of them, heh.
Anyway, I was impressed with this one. I strongly prefer peppermint over spearmint, and this one is very nice and balanced well with the black base. It is rare for me to find a David’s Tea blend I would actually consider buying! Woot! AND it is appropriately festive :D
The Amoda box was worth it just to get to try this tea! I think I might like it even better than Creamy Eggnog, which is one of my most favorite Butiki blends of all time! If it ever ends up for sale on the website, it is definitely going on my shopping list! Seriously delicious :D
This tea was a beautiful early Christmas gift from my pal BrewTEAlly Sweet! She’s the BEST!
So, I sit down to write my tasting note after drinking several steeps of this…and the main word I’ve been finding to describe it as is “clean”. Sure enough, the Verdant website describes it as one of the cleanest shu puerhs ever! I get lots of visuals when I drink puerh. This one was showing me a sun dappled forest floor, with a pure crisp stream trickling over some pristine moss. Seriously wonderful stuff! This is not in any way a funky puerh. CLEAN and delightful. Thank you so much to Master Han, Verdant and BrewTEAlly Sweet!!! <3
Sad sip down! Very honored I was able to try this one. I hope it ends up for sale some day :)
