Very tasty peach tea…but where is the jasmine???
I’ll have to try next time at home where I can more accurately control the temperature and such rather than here at work. Also I might try mixing a few of these pearls with some actual jasmine pearls to try to get the jasmine/peach ratio more what I was expecting.
I’m back in the office today. The roads are still kind of ridiculous. We don’t normally get winter weather this early in the season! grumpy
I must be in the mood for nutty teas today, I brought this one for the morning and banana walnut treat for the afternoon. A bright and warm spot in my day :)

WOW. So smooth…so much honey flavor! Almost a floral honeysuckle but not quite. Also very rich and lightly malty. SO very very good! I’m so happy I got to try it :) :) :)
Good tea. Very comforting in this scary weather! Southern Indiana got hit with an ice/snow storm…but I’m at work today. Luckily my coworker with a Jeep gave me a ride. We do a lot of work for the funeral industry, so even though I’m just a graphic artist the show must go on! I’m hoping it doesn’t get much worse because I have to work on Saturday and Sunday, too. What is up with adulthood ruining snow for me? I used to love snow so much! :(
I made this into tea syrup the other night- I brewed 1 cup of tea triple strength, and then simmered the tea with 1/2 cup of sugar and let it cool. Now I’ve been adding a few spoonfuls of it to club soda…HOLY CRAP SO GOOD!
It tastes like strawberry rhubarb cream soda with a hint of tea. dies

However- when I was putting the dry leaf in the steeper, I came across a particularly large piece of bunny graham…and made the mistake of nibbling it. DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME! bleh! I had to rinse off my tongue LOL
