1113 Tasting Notes
Oof. Rushing back to work this morning after my weekend out of town and I’m really dragging. A hot matchaccino latte seemed like the easiest option before work. I know exactly how long to microwave the milk to get it just warm enough and I use half a scoop of mix and whip it up with a small french wisk. Tasty and fast and easy! rushes off
Another tea from my Chicago friend’s stash that I got to try today. Such a strange choice for a white tea base! Very very cookie dough like flavor though. I was shocked! I had this unsweetened but with some sugar it would be a hella good desserty treat.
In other news I got to visit my first Adagio tea store and Teavana store. I was impressed with Teavana because I got offered and drank 4 tiny free samples while I was in there! Amazingly enough I purchased nothing from either place. So much fun to visit though! Lots of pretty tea pots :)
I am up in Chicago this weekend visiting a good buddy of mine. She is into tea too, and actually worked at a David’s store as a seasonal worker last winter. So I brought her a bunch of stuff from my tea stash and I’m raiding her stash for breakfast :)
This tea did not impress me that much, heh. My fault for selecting a bagged tea :)

This tea has a wonderful soft natural apple and almond flavor, with a hint of frosting or pastry floating around in the background. The base tea is mild but pleasant and unobtrusive. This is very enjoyable! Especially for those of us that like our tea to taste like a bakery treat sometimes :D

I’ve always wanted to try this tea. My husband and I cook a lot of southeast asian food so I’m familiar with tamarind and a big fan of the flavor. Of course, the base tea pairs perfectly with the tamarind! Slightly malty and sweet. I don’t think it needs any sugar. This one is definitely going on my shopping list! :D
