989 Tasting Notes
Much delayed tasting note, heh. I had one of these this morning before heading out for the day. It was delicious as always! Today is my birthday and I had lunch went shopping and got a pedicure with my mom! While we were out I took advantage of my free “whatever the heck I want” for my birthday drink at Starbucks (just register a gift card on their website and you can have one too!) Anyway, it ended up being a huge Venti caramel crunch frappe with soymilk and an extra shot of espresso, so I am WELL caffeinated for the rest of the day. Cracked out even!! boing boing boing Anyway, my sweet husband got me a Butiki gift card for my birthday so I CAN’T WAIT to place my birthday order! :D
My first purple tea! YAY! Thanks Courtney for sharing a little with me so I can try it.
Like other Butiki teas, the flavoring here is very natural and a little subtle but not in a bad way. Mmmm, I love bluberry! The base tea reminds me a little of a green or maybe white tea? It doesn’t have a really strong flavor either, but don’t get me wrong, this tea isn’t bland or anything! It is really quite nice. I’m glad I got to try it. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice natural blueberry flavored tea! I think its the best blueberry tea I’ve tried so far.
I’m so glad I finally got to try some bamboo tea! Thanks Courtney :)
I’m only mostly sure I can pick out the bamboo note in this tea. There is lots of juicy peachy pineapple goodness on top, with a gentle floral undertone and a hint of something vegetal that must be the bamboo. This would be great iced I bet! I am curious to try more bamboo teas now.
Thank you Tealizzy for the sample! This is a very tasty oolong. I’m not really getting any of the pastry type flavors as described on the package, but its pretty good nonetheless! It is very smooth and floral and not at all astringent. Buttery and vegetal, too. Glad to have tried it, but not rushing to buy more or anything :)
