My best friend/roommate here has this tea, and is gracious enough to let me have some whenever I feel like it (lucky, lucky me!!). This is lovely, sweeter tea that I generally have for dessert. Very relaxing blend (the Adagio Cream is one of my go-to teas), the cream balances out the chai nicely. I usually have with one sugar and two milk.

I figured I would give this tea a shot despite all of the low ratings because I generally prefer cream teas, and I’m quite glad I did! It is a very mellow tea, but pairs well with most food (which I find uncommon). I would still place it slightly below the David’s Cream of Earl Grey (favourite tea of all time), but this is still an excellent tea. I will take it either with one sugar and one milk, or just one milk. Not sure if I would enjoy it black, though.

This is a nice Early Grey. Nothing too spectacular about it, but also nothing particularly bad either.

This has now become one of my staples teas! I find steeping to the midway point makes for a lovely balance between the black tea and the fruity notes. I find a little bit of sugar and two to three drops of milk to be the best combination for me.

I’m not a huge fan of maple, but I ended up with 100g of this. I steeped to the half-way point (I don’t love maple but I also hate bland tea), and added two drops of milk. It tastes like a maple dip from THortons, I’m actually liking it a lot more than I thought I would. Still don’t know if I would drink it all of the time, though.

This is a fantastic lemon tea. The lemon is definitely present but not overpowering, and almost tastes like lemonade (but not quite). I might try it iced as well. I would recommend on steeping the full six minutes, the shorter side tends to make this tea a little bland.

Don’t you find it gets extremely bitter when you steep it that long? I need to find a way to enjoy this tea that’s not just iced!

I don’t, but I also steep my tea quite long! I did steep it for 4 minutes a few days ago, and threw in a lemon slice for half a minute, which seemed to up the lemon?

I usually steep 1 minute with extra leaves then pour it over ice. I’ll do that now, and compare a longer steeped hot cup. I’m curious as I haven’t had this in at least a couple months!

I’m actually not a huge fan of iced teas, but I think I’m going to try it with this one!

This is a fantastic blend. The citrus is quite strong as soon as you open it (which I like), and is prominent in the taste. I only steeped it for 4 minutes, though I think it could’ve stood a little longer. I had it with one milk. Will add more notes for sugar/steeping time.

I love green apples, so when my friend offered this to me, I jumped at the chance! Very tart and crisp. More to follow

I picked this tea up from Palais de The when I was wondering around Grafton Street. I love really any black tea based Early Grey, so I was very excited for this. I must say, this is not my favourite tea. I think it may have to do with the fact that it has a Yunnan base (I prefere Ceylon or Darjeeling), but I did enjoy the bergamot (you could definitely tell it was there). I’ve had it twice now, and steeped it the full five minutes. I may try 3.5-4 minutes to see how it turns out then.

Because I’ve had a terrible night/day (thank you, roommates), I’ve been drinking boatloads of tea to stay awake. This is usually one of my favourite teas, but I somehow made the perfect cup. It’s like drinking an Earl Grey flavoured cloud. Take that, stupid undergrads!

I’m back in Winnipeg now, so regular access to all my teas! (Though I do miss Ireland quite a lot.)

I mostly drink black teas (anything with cinnamon is fantastic), with a few white teas as well.
