Midtown Manhattan.
Close to work.
Open for dinner.
Walk up the steps to the second floor.

I had dumplings, cold tea noodles, and a drink.
When the food was being prepared, I checked out the books and teas.
Teas in the tins were expensive.
Place is good for a date (I went by myself)
The female tea servers covered their hair.

I’ll stick to my $1 pizza slices and supermarket bagged teas for now.

I love this place! It is close to my office, and feels like an oasis in midtown manhattan. They have a large selection of teas, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The service does tend to be on the slow side, so just make sure you are not in a rush when you go. Food is light and pairs well with tea.

This is the place were i tasted my first oolong and that made me more serious about tea. The other commenters already said it all, nice and knowledgeable staff, nice food, nice tea selection. Everyone gave a 5 star rating, go there and you’ll understand why.

This place is really nice and I’d go here often if it were convenient. Lots of really high quality teas, which the staff is very knowledgeable about. As a bonus the peanut mochi is really tasty! A little expensive, but a peaceful and enriching atmosphere to enjoy tea.

Radiance Tea House is my favorite tea house, bar none. When I go to New York, I absolutely, positively must make a stop—even if I just stuffed my face and you have to roll me here. Luckily, they are open late! The staff here are passionate about tea and are just phenomenal. The food, while pricey, is delicious. This is truly a gem in Midtown.

Radiance Tea House and Books has it all: wonderful tea, great food, knowledgeable staff and superb atmosphere.

Oolong fans will be both impressed and delighted with the vast selection of Taiwanese and Chinese teas available. I’m glad everyone there understands the language of tea and all speak it fluently.

A must-have: homemade Matcha Green Tea ice cream. Ginger and Red Bean ice cream are available as well. Enjoy!

My favorite place to spend time relaxing in the city. The delightfully caffeinated staff, beautiful zen interior, chill music, and attention to detail in tea and food preparation make Radiance a paragon of the Asian teahouse with urban flair.

Talk to Ben and Dayin. They will hook you up.

Their food is good and their tea selection keeps getting better and better.
For real. This place is for tea people.

Very knowledgeable staff. Technically a bookstore that serves tea and light lunch. Feels undiscovered despite being in midtown just off 6th Ave.

The staff is very helpful, and they have two whole menus of tea for you to choose from! while you wait you can check out their book and tea ware assortment. The food is also so far, delicious (we’ve tried the dumplings and eel)
