I love Lovejoys! The tea service is delicious and the tea selection itself is good. My favorite tea is the “tea room blend”. They also have especially nice scones and crumpets with devonshire cream and lemon curd. The atmosphere is great too. It is decorated like an English Grandmum’s attic, with kitschy mismatched tea sets, doilies, antique furniture, and floral table cloths. Overall, a great place to go!

A couple friends and I met up at Lovejoys on a Sunday morning this past summer. What a lovely little place. It’s a popular place for bachelorette parties and baby showers. There was one of each while we were there, I think, as well as a mother with her two daughters who were dressed up as princesses :) It’s that kind of place.

Make a reservation and take a few of your girl friends for High Tea! The teas are delicious (I particularly recommend the rose and the hazelnut), as are the scones and the tea sandwiches!

I loooooooooooove this place. The scones are very nice.

If you’re like me, you will be the only other male there and the only people under 80. But that is part of the charm. (Actually, in reality there were a few younger groups when I went). But anyway it’s a really cool spot, it’s great to hang out there and the sandwiches and food and petit fours and scones were all out of this world. The tea is really excellent and they have some great options. The store across the road sells some great stuff, be sure to bring some extra money for take home teas and don’t forget to take the coupon over to next door. Great spot.

Two friends and I came in on a nice fall afternoon after walking across the Golden Gate Bridge and had the Queen’s Tea, recommended by the server. It came with little sandwiches, fruits and other goodies plus our choices of teas. The teas are bottomless so the server would come by now and then to check if our teapots were warm or if they needed resteeping. She was also very helpful and enthusiastic in describing teas. It was a really nice experience.

The decor was very cute and dainty and it was nearly 100% women. I could see there were a few showers/birthdays going on and I can see why this would be a great place for such an occasion. I think this was the first experience that got me really interested in loose leaf teas. I would definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.
